Just moved downtown for the summer, leaving my giant TV and dedicated gaming room behind. With limited space, a huge 65-inch TV or larger ones weren't an option. I wanted a monitor with smart tv capability. This was a prior year model and was for less than an equivalent Samsung.

The webos isn't the greatest. It's missing some apps I expected to be there.

I like the USB-C adapter. It can provide a bigger screen for a MacBook Air and power the MacBook Air too.

I did attach an Apple TV to one of the HDMI ports. It works, no problem. Interesting that the Apple TV remote can control some of the smart functions on the monitor including Power On and Power Off.

Really like this monitor, I originally purchased the Samsung Smart monitor but returned it when I couldn’t get the USB-c port to work (which seems to be an issue for other people as well).

Everything seems to work well, it is large and crystal clear, everything I could ask for. The included monitor arm is sturdy and perfectly weighted to allow for easy movement.

The ONLY criticism I have is that it took 8 days for delivery, not the “guaranteed” 2 days. It seems the only guarantee is that there are no guarantees.

Attention Amazon, PLEASE do not use Canada Post, they don’t work weekends and have no sense of urgency.
The monitor sat in a sorting facility in my city for 2 and a half days over the weekend then they attempted delivery to my home however once I realized it was Canada Post making the delivery I went to their site and changed delivery to my local post office which didn’t seem to matter. Later that evening I received an email and was finally, able to pick it up, six days late, yes you heard that right - SIX DAYS LATE. Two thumbs down for Canada Post.

The media could not be loaded.
 The monitor was neatly packed and the monitor ended up having some weird discoloration on the bottom part of the screen. Very frsutrating as the unboxing and setting up took a while. Now returning it meant I have to lug around thr huge box it came in and print a label as it doesn't do the qr code.

this monitor has no HDR. I do not remember the last cheap 4k tv that did not have HDR. The colors are all wrong (I am comparing this to my amazon 4k tv preset picture modes and my lg tv preset picture modes).
text does look excellent on this tv except the program that i used most only works in 1080p and in 1080p
for some reason the colors look more washed out. If you want a inexpensive 4k 40+ inch monitor my advice would be to avoid this and purchase a 4k tv with HDR.

I am so so happy with this TV. Technically, it is a monitor but I have been using them for TV since I got my first firestick a few years ago. This picture is phenomenal! The colours pop off the screen from the images. The fact that I have built-in apps is a bonus. Set-up took no time at all & I was watching TV in less than 5 minutes.

Purchased to replace a smaller 27” LG as I needed a larger screen size for work and loved that it has the WebOS capabilities and a remote. Everything works as expected. The speakers are great. I was hoping I could get rid of the fireTV stick but the LG App Store doesn’t have some of the apps I use. Hoping that will change over time. Overall fantastic value and quality I expect from LG.

I work from home and I wanted a monitor that can also be used as a television after work. I prefer this LG smart monitor (left side of my desk) to my Samsung smart monitor (on the right side of my desk). No other monitor mount I've ever used comes close to this LG Ergo stand. This has more inputs than my Samsung smart monitor. Probably the best part about this monitor that I prefer instead of my Samsung monitor is the input button on the included LG remote. Way too many clicks on my Samsung smart monitor remote to change inputs and switch from monitor to TV. The 4k quality is great. The sound is fine. Only downsides I can think of are that it doesn't include a webcam (but I only average about 1-2 hours each day on video calls and I now use my iPhone instead), sometimes it is a bit slow when switching inputs to the LG streaming channels (but similarly slow to old cable boxes), and I wish the monitor and Ergo stand went down about 2 more inches in height. The LG streaming channels are almost identical to the Samsung streaming channels. Haven't used this for video games as those are still hooked up to my Samsung smart monitor.

Es un monitor con una calidad de imagen excelente. Brillo, contraste y saturacion fabulosa. SI bien no lo utilizo para edicion fotografica, sino para desarrollo de software, bien podria usarse para esta actividad. El tamaño de los elementos a su maxima resolucion (3840 x 2160) es bastante adecuado, ni muy pequeño que no se pueda utilizar, ni muy grande como para sentir que se esta desperdiciando espacio.

Lo uso con una Mac Studio y todo va de maravilla. Hasta ahora he probado a conectar equipos via HDMI o USB-C y todo perfecto.

Los unicos detalles que no me encantaron, es que no puedes usar el monitor de switch KVM puesto a que solo el equipo conectado via USB-C tiene acceso a los dispositivos conectados al resto de puertos USB. Ame el control remoto y que sus funciones SMART con WebOS.

Love the picture quality. supports HDR which is great for watching movies. The only thing that would improve it (at least is my case) is the ability to switch inputs using a keyboard shortcut. I think LG has a tool for that but this monitor is not supported. But that's a minor thing, switching inputs is easy enough with the remote or the mobile app.

This thing, this kinda odd, kinda brilliant and perhaps a bit too ahead of its time. I haven’t watched anything in a while but I’ve had it for a spell now. It’s a very well engineered piece of equipment, aestetically cool, modern with an easy to use/navigate LG operating system and I love the built in Apple TV. The picture quality is amazing even via wi-fi; I can only imagine how much better it would be hardwired. I played Asphalt 8 on it and was blown away by the resolution, almost as good as my macbook. I cannot picture myself with another TV/Monitor sans Apple’s Studio display, but this or at least mine can be glitchy and needs to be unplugged and replugged fairly often; but that is all it takes to get it back and it reboots quickly. The speakers are useless for me in all TV’s/ monitors, a total waste of money and space as you need a separate audio system with all of them. Also their remote control app is almost total useless like all of Xfinity’s, the remote they send is like a cheaper similar sized Apple TV remote. I paid $400 and I’m happy with it overall, not perfect but as a former teacher I will give it an A-.
