I absolutely love this monitor. I replaced a 3-monitor setup with this one and have no regrets. The single USB-C cable with power delivery is awesome. My setup is a laptop + Thunderbolt dock. The laptop is connected to the dock via USB-C and the monitor is connected to the dock via USB-C. Now I can use the USB ports on the back of the monitor for my external Logitech Brio camera, keyboard & mouse, and leave space in my dock for other things to plug in that are more transient like charging my phone.

Finally pulled the trigger on this one after much research on various ultrawides. Opted for the subtle curve (1900R on this one) which I believe was a great call. A flat ultrawide can feel a bit awkward however I was not looking for anything too dramatic as I am just using this monitor for productivity. The curve on this monitor is very comfortable at my regular viewing distance.

Picture quality is great considering this is 1440 resolution, not 4k or higher. I find text nice and crisp. Colours are also really great even with standard settings. The only thing I wish was a bit better was the brightness. I had a feeling this would be the case when I ordered and yes, once I had this set up next to my Macbook Pro it felt just a hair too dim for my liking.

Other features like the Ergo Arm and the USB-C power delivery are incredible and worth the extra spend. I prefer the LG arm to any 3rd party ones I've seen and being able to power my laptop and deliver picture through a single cable makes for a super clean desk setup!

Overall, I'm thrilled with this monitor and how it has impacted my WFH setup. I feel more productive on the ultrawide and having such a nice display and clean setup make me look forward to diving into some nice deep work sessions!

USB-c stopped working almost exactly at the 1 year mark so it is out of warranty. The software doesn't work, they don't support updates, and the "customer support" is laughable. Save your money and go with a better product.

Love the image quality - like all LG IPS monitors I've tried, color accuracy and backlight consistency are top notch. The menu is the typical joystick-driven, easy to use, robust, set-it-forget-it experience that I'm used to from LG. Overall on the actual monitor, no notes, 5/5.

But the ergonomic mount makes it worth the extra $$$ - while I have had standard VESA monitor arms before, the arm on this is easy to adjust, while the cable management eliminates clutter. My only issue is that the max height is 10" from the desk surface.

It seems that this would be the minimum starting point for a true ergonomic arm, especially if you have a sit/stand desk - in a sitting position this puts my eyes centered in the top third of the screen, which is perfectly fine. But in a comfortable standing position with my arms in an ergonomic position on the desk, my eyes are almost dead-level with the top of the screen. Not only is this not great from an ergonomic perspective, but it changes the position of my webcam relative to my face, so I am often adjusting my camera to reframe the image. The max height really needs to be another 1-2" to account for sit-stand situations.

I purchased this unit through an authorized Amazon retailer. The packaging was not damaged in shipping. Unpacked it and set it up in my home office. It worked great for about 24 hours, then a set of vertical lines began showing up on the right side of the screen. The next day the lines progressed even worse. Hooked up another PC to the monitor and the same lines appeared, even using different ports and cables. Okay, so I have a monitor with a faulty internal ribbon cable. I contacted Amazon and they first connected me with LG customer support. LG support created a case, and said one of their “authorized repair partners” would contact me within 7-10 business days either by phone or email and give me instructions on how to get it fixed. So they want me to wait 10 days before I even know if I will have to drive hours away to bring it somewhere or ship it off and possibly have to wait weeks or months for repairs? LG, I need this for work. I paid nearly $700 bucks. Replace it or send someone here to fix it ASAP. They would not do that or send me a replacement.

Well, the LG “authorized repair center” never contacted me via email or phone during the 7-10 business days.

I want to give kudos to Amazon though. I contacted them again and explained what was happening. They sent me a UPS return label and UPS picked it up the next day from my office. It took about a week or so to get the refund, but it went through. Thank you Amazon for stepping up.

I went ahead and bought a similar model made by Dell. I am not going back to LG after that experience. I understand electronics fail, but LG needs to provide better support options when a brand new product is faulty.

QC Issues - Faulty panel

Ordered this monitor and it arrived with a broken panel. Shipping box was fine so this makes me think the QC is poor on these monitors which is unacceptable for a $700 monitor. Amazon also can't (for some dumb reason) offer an exchange so you'll need to repackage the product, return it, wait for a refund, and order a new one. Then you need to vacuum all the styrofoam that flies around your office.

Just a very poor customer experience all around.
