I've had this monitor for just over a year (1 month outside of manufacturers warranty) and the monitor will no longer connect over USB C. I need to now use a dongle to adapt to HDMI. The fact this monitor could be connected with 1 USB C cable was the entire reason I purchased it. For the last 6 months the monitor would periodically drop signal while plugged in. I would need to unplug and reconnect the usb from my Macbook to reset the connection. This week the connection completely dropped and I can't get it to connect at all. Working with technical support I was quickly informed I would need to take the monitor to get repaired (at my own expense). It's clear this is a known issue for LG and I'm disappointed they aren't standing up behind their product.
