This is the best monitor i've ever bough. no ghoting, no dead pixel, this is perfect for shooter like COD and fortniteThis is also perfect for 4k gaming but YOU need a decent graphic card for it to deliver the best. I'll start by saying this: if you don't have a specific need for 4K, you might want to consider a 1440p screen instead. By default, Windows will scale all on-screen text and user interfaces to 150%, as everything would be far too small otherwise. I would recommend leaving it at 150%. There is a non-zero chance you may run into compatibility issues with programs not scaling properly, but most newer apps seem to scale up just fine, so it's not a big issue. Just be aware of that before you buy it. But also keep in mind that despite the scaling function, everything still looks better on a 4K 27'' monitor than it does on a 1440p 27'' monitor, due to the superior pixel density. I was worried 27'' might be too small for a 4K monitor, but it's really not! I have a 1440p monitor next to it, and I can tell the difference in things like text clarity easily.

My own "specific need" for 4K was that I wanted two monitors: one with a resolution that was a multiple of 240p (9x = 2160p), and the other a multiple of 480p (3x = 1440p). I only had 1080p monitors before these, and 1080p was a multiple of neither number. I wanted this for retro gaming, as 240p was the native resolutions of many old 4:3 games. That way, I could have the games running at integer scale without letterbox, and even run shaders on top.

Well, my plan was a success and worked just as expected.

Anyway, the colors on these UltraGear monitors are something to behold. That's the other main reason I got them. I refuse to skimp on colors ever again. They are the most important aspect of a monitor in my opinion, and this monitor delivers that full gamut without breaking a sweat. Figure of speech. Monitors don't sweat...

The contrast is surprisingly good, too. I mean, it's not an OLED, so you won't get the inkiest blacks in the world, but they still very much look black. You'll have to take my word for it.

Besides, if you spend a lot of time at your PC, you're probably not gonna want to be completely blinded by an OLED's HDR brightness all day long. And paying twice as much for an OLED monitor, only to have to constantly live in fear of burn-in... sounds pretty bad when you put it that way, right?

This is an excellent monitor. What else can I say? I thought it was a bit on the pricy side even on sale, but considering this could be the last monitor I buy for a very long time, I'd say it was well worth the cost.

Upgraded from an Asus XG27AQ which is now my second display. Was very happy with the Asus but I have an RTX 3090TI so I really wanted to try 4k but wasn't sure how much better it would be than 1440p. Well I'm happy to say there is a pretty noticeable improvement even at 27". The picture quality is fantastic and the colours are great. Contrast is so so because it's ips but it's fine in my opinion. I don't have any issues with colour uniformity, backlight bleed, or dead pixels. I'm also happy that the monitor doesn't get too hot and radiate too much heat. I tried HDR and although it does make a difference in most games that support it, most of the time I don't really feel like it's that much better. I did notice a big improvement with HDR video content. I downloaded a 4k HDR movie and it looked amazing. Also youtube HDR videos, like the ones that are actually HDR look fantastic.

I use this with a monitor wall arm but I did have it on the included stand for a few days and I wasn't happy with the stand overall. It was sturdy but it has no swivel so you can't turn the screen right or left without turning the bottom legs along with it. Also the legs stick out in front of the monitor about three inches which is a bit annoying depending on how close you like the screen to be to your face. Also the lowest height the stand will allow is way too high. Compared to my Asus XG27AQ that can go about three inches lower. So if you like to have your monitor pretty low on your desk then you'll need to get a monitor arm mount. I bought the HUANUO HNWSS1 here on Amazon.ca and it works great.

Overall I think this monitor is fantastic minus the complaints about the stand. There are no reviews that I could find on youtube or any website so if anyone has a question about this particular screen just post a question here and I'll answer it the best I can.

I didn't want to have to think about burn in, otherwise, I would have gone OLED. I also wasn't really interested in sacrificing on 4k which, all the OLEDs and higher refresh rate panels seem to do. 144-160hz is a lot of improvement for me, coming from a 1080 60hz panel, so you can take that into consideration if you've already got a monitor with better specs, but what I can tell you, is that this is a no-compromises screen.

You can watch videos, you can read reviews, you can go bananas on your own research on which monitor to buy. I tried to, but eventually this one just hit the right price point and I picked this one. I got lucky. I couldn't be happier with this at all. Nit pick if that's what you're into over screens with the best HDR, but unless you're buying an OLED, then buy this one. It's perfect.

Even being a 2019 Model it packs all the features gamers dream of….crisp and fast super resolution as all the games look mind blowing on it. Received it last night after using Samsung G9 for two years then an 55” 4K Mini LED I can say it is the one…forget about OLED CRAP that’s gonna get issues after two months…10/10

Less imposing in real estate than the 32" monitor, very adequate 144 Hz refresh rate. Have yet to acquire the appropriate video card to push the output to it's 3840 x 2160 limit. Seems to be less intense than it's 32" brother. Not a fan of wall warts, however I do extend a 1/2 point for providing what most laptops prove, is the 'wart' in in the middle, and doesn't hog the outlet like most wall warts. Kudos for the cables. The monitor has USB A, there is a USB A to C cable. The monitor has HDMI, there is a HDMI cable. The monitor has a DP, and although I have yet to find which version (1.2 or 1.4), 1.4 would be a safe guess, and while there is a cable - I have yet to find out if it can handle 3840 x 2160 at 144 Hz. It's a stretch at the price point, however I spend a lot of time at the keyboard, so the cost effectiveness will be spread out over the planned hours of use.
