I'm going to get a little technical here, but I'll try to be brief:
First off, this is an excellent budget monitor with good to great performance in all regards.
Motion handling/blur are as close to perfect as I've personally witnessed with no visible smearing at any part of the color spectrum that my eyes have noticed. My particular panel arrived with no dead pixels and just one patch of backlight bleed in the upper right - it's only visible in very dark scenes. Quite good for a budget IPS monitor.
Color accuracy out of the box was a touch overly green and red. sRGB color accuracy is nearly perfect to my naked eye after minimal calibration and I'm confident that I'll be able to dial in perfect settings when I have more time.
I've read that contrast with this monitor can be a bit poor, even for an IPS panel. This has not been my experience - While obviously not perfect, blacks are far deeper than I would have expected from a budget IPS panel. Contrast performance is worse in the dark grey and grey-black range with those colors looking more samey than the rest of the spectrum, but only if you're really looking for it. Your eyes should adapt quickly.
The HDR mode is a joke. It technically accepts an HDR signal but you'll struggle to spot the difference. If you really want HDR on a budget, look for a high-quality VA panel instead as they can come relatively close to approximating the effect of true local dimming.
Input latency is a non-issue, feeling a bit faster than my 32 inch Dell VA panel but a bit slower than my old Viewsonic XG2402 - one of the last great TN panels with blisteringly low input lag. All in all, extremely fast.
Ghosting/overshoot are totally invisible on the Fast overdrive setting across most of the refresh range, though I will say that I noticed a hint of overshoot in the 60 FPS locked title Pizza Tower. Even this was minimal enough that I stopped noticing it after a while. Try lowering overdrive to normal if this bothers you and you expect to play around 60 FPS or lower.
Finally, I will recommend that you shell out the extra cash for the stand if you have about one foot of side-to-side space. It's a bit rigid when using the pivot feature but keeps wobbling to a minimum.
In conclusion: If you're looking for a good 24 inch, IPS 1080p monitor with a high refresh rate, you can buy this one with confidence.

Wasn't Expecting to Have NO Problems!
Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2023Verified Purchase
To monitor experts/amateurs: take this with a grain of salt, as I am a total noob. For my first monitor experience, I was beyond impressed by the visual quality of this monitor. This monitor serves as an upgrade from an old TV (that wasn't even 1080p), so I'm sure the majority of my opinion is due to that! However, the display is very crisp, the colors are fantastic (I'm an artist as well, so this is important), and it works great for the games that I play (Overwatch, mainly)! The monitor is not the sturdiest and shakes when there is movement, but I have no concern about the build quality or anything coming loose. There were no dead pixels or cosmetic flaws. I am a big fan of the red accents as well. It's important to note that I am only using an HDMI 1.4 cable so I am limited to 120hz and lack some features. Despite this, it's remarkably good, and I can't wait to see how good it is using the DP it came with in the future! Overall to me, a great monitor that was definitely worth the price it's at!

A great budget-oriented 1080p monitor
Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2021Verified Purchase
I ordered this to replace a 1080p TV, which had a decent contrast ratio(3000:1) and vivid colors, but lacked any customization or gaming-oriented features. For the price, it's excellent - you get a Displayport 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 ports and a modest 144hz refresh rate. The screen can tilt up and down(but -not- left and right), and can be raised and lowered a reasonable amount, and the stand is decent enough.
Regarding the monitor itself, first and foremost it is not going to look that great out of the box. Brightness is at max by default, among other things. It has a small button/knob underneath the front that you can use to change all the settings, and you should absolutely do this. The initial preset(called "Gamer 1") can be fully customized, while the others have certain parameters locked. Before you worry about it not looking that great, take the time to adjust this. It'll be worth it. It does support HDR10, but lacks any important features(high contrast ratio, high brightness, and local dimming) needed to really take advantage of it. Don't expect much, but use it if you like it.
Second, this is an IPS panel and has a low(around 1000:1) contrast ratio. If you're coming from a TV or a VA panel, your eyes will absolutely need to adjust. The colors will be a bit different compared to other panels, especially a TV with good post processing. No amount of tinkering with the settings will completely fix this, but you'll get used to it. On the other hand, you'll get to experience a buttery smooth 144hz refresh rate, and even simple things like moving your cursor or a window around feel better.
It's compatible with both AMD FreeSync and G-Sync, but it isn't G-sync certified. This means Nvidia cards won't turn on G-Sync right away. You'll need to go into your card's control panel and activate G-Sync for the monitor. It'll note that the monitor isn't certified compatible, but won't stop you from turning it on.
The monitor does have a 3.5mm jack input for speakers or headphones, but I suggest avoiding it. If they cut corners anywhere, it was here. The audio seems both quieter(even when turning the monitor's volume up) and lower quality. If possible, just plug your speakers/soundbar/etc directly into your PC or console. You'll get far better sound this way.
Overall this is probably the best 1080p gaming monitor for it's price point. It won't get you the best picture quality when watching movies or playing more cinematic single player games, but if you value performance you won't find much better without spending a lot more.
