I'm always amazed at how digital technology products can differ in price by 100% or more, and still do a mathematically identical job. The MIDI message is either delivered in an accurate and timely manner or it is not. No reason to pay more. The Lekato USB Type-C MIDI interface cable adapter is simple and does the job. My only suggestion is that they clarify the IN and OUT labels on the plugs so it is clear that is from the perspective of the computer, so the IN plug needs to get plugged into the OUT plug of the keyboard, which is unintuitive.

Much like other reviewers, I too thought I had a bad cable, but once I put the IN end in the OUT spot on my midi controller, and OUT end in the IN, it works great... for now at least! Maybe their quality control person was off that production day? lol

I wonder why using these is not the standard. Feels totally transparent, has one usb-a, midi in and out so as to link your accessories easily. Not much else, good quality.

Even after several hours of trouble shooting by our professional musician friend, this cable failed to work between our piano keyboard and my wife's Macbook Pro. It was only after our musician friend suggested reversing the MIDI IN and OUT plugs from their properly labeled orientation did the cable actually work. It appears the plugs were attached in reverse while being assembled at the factory...

It's a great product, but I spent a lot of time with it not working on my Mac. I finally discovered some advice online that reminded me that on Midi device, the plug labelled IN plugs into the keyboards OUT slot and the OUT plug goes into the IN slot. Once I corrected that it worked like a charm.

Bought this cable to hook my Quest 3 to my drum kit and piano for mixed reality play. This syncs perfectly with my instruments and Quest. Definitely brings playing to a new level. Using this cable I play my drums with a Guitar Hero style type of play and the piano is kind of similar. IF anyone has a VR headset and acoustic drums/MIDI piano you NEED to buy this cable and hook them up. It is a total game changer.

Took me a minute to figure it out. Using garage band the controller would be recognized but the kawai ca100 wouldn't. Anyway user error. I plugged "in" into "in" and "out" into "out". Swap that and it was good.
