Decent ring light overall. Good even lighting. Good brightness. Completely adjustable.
Pros:-It’s well built. It is mostly plastic but, all the parts mate well, and there are no misalignments or sharp edges.-Bright and even illumination.-Adjustable brightness. This ring light allows for a good range of brightness adjustments from low to very bright -Adjustable illumination temperature. This ring light allows for a good range of illumination temperature adjustments from 3000K to 6500K. So, from a warm yellow light to a bright white light.-Decently long operation time-Rechargeable-Touch control panel on the ring light, and wireless controls via the included remote -Good range in height range with the included tripod. From 31” to 79”-The ball jointed and flexible arm of the phone holder allows for a good range of articulation -Light weight -Easy to operateCons:-Since it is mostly plastic, there is a potential for cracking or shattering if it drops or falls over-The touch controls are responsive, but the on/off and color temperature buttons are the same button. Long press for on/off and taps for color temperature changes. Sometimes you might inadvertently turned off the light. It’s very minor issues but, exist. Would have been better if controls were separate.-When using the touch controls for the color temperature adjustments, there are no hard stops for the temperature adjustment. It just loops. This means that if you are trying to reach the upper and lower limits (for example brightest), and you don’t know what the limits look like, more often than not, one additional button press just sends it back to beginning (the opposite end of the spectrum). It would have been better if there were hard stops at the upper and lower ranges. That way you know you’ve hit max or min limits. This is not a concern when using the remote. The touch controls should have been the same.-While the tripod is perfectly fine and functional. It is very basic. There are no bells and whistles like feet levelers or level bubble. It’s just a typical thin walled, steel tubing tripod. It’s light, but not as much as aluminum tripods. For the price, I wouldn’t expect it to be, and for this purpose and use, it works and is not a really a big deal but, should mentioned. This ring light is a good option for those that are looking for bright and even illumination for social media stuff, product reviews, photography, and etc. While it is well built, and the performance is pretty solid, the plastic housing and lens seem fragile, and the tripod is fairly basic. None of which are real deal breakers given the performance and price point.Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by how decent it is, and would recommend it.

I've used all sizes of ring lights in the past and 12" just really seems to nail it for close-ups. Took about 2 hours to charge up with the included 12V adapter, but after that it worked perfectly as a stand-alone. The tripod isn't too bad either! It actually extends to above my height and the legs are pretty stable. They don't have rubber feet though, so that's one area for improvement.

As for the remote, it's an absolute necessity imo. Can't be bothered to walk up to the light every time to adjust the brightness, especially if sitting behind a computer, table or desk. Love that feature. Adjustability is great too. The only thing I'll suggest is to screw the light into the thread BEFORE raising the height of the tripod. So much easier that way.

Fortunately I haven't had it turn off on me yet since the meetings I've been using it for generally don't last longer than an hour, but the run time is rated for 80 minutes @ full brightness. And it definitely does get bright at a distance of 2-3 feet, believe you me. Favourite colour temperature is still around 4200-4500K, and this light absolutely gets there. Very happy I don't have to fiddle with cables either. I just leave it next to my desk attached to the folded-up tripod and grab it when I need it. Simple and easy.

Overall, I'm a fan, but mainly for my particular needs. I find it a bit too big for super-close phone chats (although you can always dim it down) and a bit too small for professional photography, but for something like a computer or as an emergency light during power outages (since it's battery powered) it's perfect. For what it is, it gets a thumbs up from me.

Used this for going on call with people and for crafting small items with my hands. I love the adjustability of this. It makes it so easy to get the perfect angle. It's a nice light when I'm on call with people, nice diffuse lighting on the skin. As for it being use with crafting, it's really useful to have a ring light to look right through the middle as I work. Managed to clip a large magnifying glass in the center when I have to work with smaller details. Having a remote is really useful to not get my dirty hands on light themselves when I need to switch brightness.

Works well for both my needs! May consider getting another so I don't have to move it all the time.

The stand is sturdy and the light is bright. This tripod is set up to allow for precise adjustments so you can get the light and camera pointing exactly where you need. You can even have it facing down to capture hand playing the piano or pointing upwards to get a bottom up perspective. You can also finely adjust the tilt of the camera, etc.
The controller is Bluetooth and connected immediately to my Android phone. Now I have a wireless camera trigger without needing an app to connect to first.

Overall, easy to recommend this because it's easy to adjust, has a remote camera clicker, the light is bright, and the value is good for the price. It would be nice if it could do a few more colors, but overall I really like this product and will be using it to record piano practice. Nicely done!

The tripod folds up into a small package. It has 3 tubes that are held in position by clamps with thumb screws that grip the circumference of the tubes and hold them securely in position.

Attaching the ring light is easy if you loosen the top tube, hold the light in one hand and turn the top tube to thread the bolt into the light ring housing.

The housing also holds the rechargeable battery that lets you move the assembly without worrying about a power cord. The housing includes controls for the light. (On/Off, brightness and color temperature). However, when you have the light in a horizontal position facing down, the controls are on the bottom of the housing.

This is where the remote control comes in very handy. In fact the remote has same controls as on the light housing and also the ability to make fine adjustments to the color temperature.

The gooseneck phone holder has a robust flexible connector that threads into the front of the housing. The clamp for the phone is spring loaded and holds my iPhone 12 very securely.

To top things off there is another remote to trigger the phone to take Photos or Videos.

When I turned the remote on for the first time, it entered the Bluetooth pairing mode (blinking light) and was quickly detected by my iPhone and I added it to my list of devices with no problem.

I set my camera on Photo and do a short press on the remote to capture the picture. If I set the camera for Video the first short press starts the Video and the next short press stops it.

This product seems to be well designed and easy to use and with an estimated lamp life of 50,000 hours it should last a long time.

Hallo liebe Leser,

Very versatile rechargeable ring light. Supplied with a remote for the light, and another for your mobile phone. Plus a tripod. The tripod extends to an impressive length. For me, the quality of the stand isn't that great, budget priced which is a shame considering all the other components are very well made. The ring light itself feels very sturdy, plus the remotes.

I like the fact it's rechargeable, not so keen that to charge it uses an old school charger, it's not USB. So the usual story about having to make sure you don't misplace the charger.

I could operate the light via the remote or touch sensor built into the light, which I like. Means I don't have to rely on the remote to work. Light has numerous modes from brightness to colour warmth.

Also supplied was a mount so you can place your phone in the middle of the ring for filming. Plus you don't have to use the tripod. The LED ring will fit the standard camera mounts used by most manufacturers (check to make sure that's good for you).

Overall I'm impressed. It's a practical piece that most could benefit from of owning.

These flickered at the higher light settings when I first tried it out, but that's resolved-- I expect that the battery was a little low, and the higher setting were drawing enough power that there was a bit of voltage drop to cause the flicker. There's an internal battery, and after I had charged it for about 20 minutes the flickering resolved and hasn't returned. The different temperature color LEDs are placed in concentric rings, so you get a bit of lighting migration either inward or outward relative to the ring as you change the color temp. The cell phone mount feels sturdy and works well; the remote works well too once you pair it by manually turning on the light the first time.

Wish there was a place on the tripod to put/store the lighting remote. I usually leave this unplugged when not in use since there's a blue status LED on both the wall wart and the ring light that is always on (the ring light one will run red if the voltage drop is causing the flicker, otherwise it stays blue).
