I bought this soup because it was a dollar off and I needed soft foods after oral surgery. I think it is a good imitation chicken noodle soup, actually, I think the only better chicken noodle soup would be homemade, this is certainly better than Campbells and quite frankly, I do not get the negative reviews, keep in mind that this is a "No Chicken Noodle Soup," the emphasis is on "No," the chicken is substituted for tofu, if you want chicken taste from the small pieces of chicken, buy something different (that will probably be worse) or make homemade, however, the tiny tofu pieces in this soup do not taste bad like some reviewers are saying, mainly because it soaks up the flavor of the vegetables and spices that are in the soup.I am not giving this soup a 5 star review, only because it's difficult for me to give a canned soup a 5 star rating because that would imply that there is no room for improvement, I personally think that an improvement would be larger sizes of tofu pieces that were a little softer, that being said, this is the best canned soup that I have ever purchased.

Recently, I bought 8 cans of Amy's Lentil Soup from Amazon. I was shocked to open the box and find 6 of those cans were damaged - dented severely. One of the cans was leaking contents into the shipping box. The box was UNDAMAGED. It looks as though the cans had been thrown or dropped into the box as if they were baseballs. These cans add up to over $35. I also ordered Carrot Ginger and Quinoa Kale and others. These other cans of soup arrived in separate boxes and were not damaged.

This soup was ordered for my mother. She's 86 years old. She's been in isolation since the beginning of the pandemic. She lives alone and asks us for very little, so we try to make sure she's comfortable and has everything she needs to be well. Everyday since the pandemic began, she's looked forward to having some Amy's soup at lunchtime. This has helped her cope with the isolation by giving her something to look forward to. She has favorite soup selections and I've been ordering them online since it's often hard to find them at the store. Amy's Soup is very popular with a nice variety of selections. It flies off the shelf as soon as it arrives. You have to be there when the shelf is restocked or you'll miss out.

I took the new supply of Lentil Soup (and others) to her today and she has decided to keep the damaged soup cans because it's part of her routine to rotate between Carrot Ginger, Lentil, Cream of Mushroom and Quinoa Kale. She's very set in her ways.

I just wanted you to know what's happening with your product and what some of your customers are
supplied with. Your product is the best and if I can find them in the store I'll get it there and avoid having them shipped. Keeping this little bit of joy supplied to my mother is very important to me.

Thank you.

Honestly I bought this by mistake as I thought it was a chicken noodle soup and not a no chicken noodle soup but I decided to give it a try anyway since I do love tofu... yeah, not for me. The soup tasted oddly sweet and had no similarities to chicken noodle soup at all, even the noodles tasted off. I was hoping for it to be at least a little close to the flavor, but it's nowhere near it.

This soup is a hint pricey, but man does it hit the spot when I have a cold.
A nice little cozy treat in a can.

I could eat this soup all day long! I've never been much for canned soup, and I am certainly not a vegan, but this soup is outstanding! I recently just recovered from some digestive issues, and during the time of my "Bland" diet, I thought I would give this soup a try. It's so good.......hearty, tasty, and extremely satisfying. I've read reviews where people have indicated that it's too salty. I didn't find that at all and actually added some salt to each bowl. Cans are BPA free as well, and calories per serving are low. This soup is great with a sandwich or just by itself. For a vegetarian soup, it's very satiating!.........
