Product description
Kirkland Signature Moist Flushable Wipes are made with EcoFlush technology from 100% plant-based materials and are free of chemical binders. These wipes pass extensive testing for flushability and are proven, when flushed one wipe at a time, to pass through a home's well-maintained toilet and drain lines or septic system without clogging. These wipes are also proven to pass through sewer systems and are compatible with wastewater treatment plants. This technology means you can feel confident flushing one wipe at a time. Never flush more than one wipe at a time. Make sure sewer and septic systems are well-maintained and there are no tree roots growing in the sewer lines. Kirkland Signature Moist Flushable wipes are not recommended for use in motor homes or with basement pump systems.

They feel SO good!
**Heads over to Youtube and plays Chuck Mangione's "Feels so good"**
He used an analogy that made a lot of sense. He said, "if you had something gross land on your arm (let's say, bird droppings), would you just grab a Kleenex and wipe it off? Probably not. In fact, I'm sure you would probably wipe it off with something wet like a cloth, or you would wet the Kleenex and then wipe it off." 🧻
Hmmm... makes sense!
So, why don't we do that with our bums too?
By the way, I'm trying to make this review as non-gross as possible. 🙈 Haha
Well, in Europe and other places in the world, they use bidets, but in North American culture that isn't very common. Well, introducing "flushable" wipes as our alternative to the bidet to hygenically clean yourself after your #2. 🚻
I have been using this specific brand for years because you get ALOT of wipes, they're unscented, and they're soft. The best part, I feel much cleaner afterward than if I used TP (especially being a guy).
Now, the main reason I wanted to write this review is because I wanted to attach a warning to give to you (and as well a solution) before you buy. Knowledge is power, right??
I also want to save you thousands of dollars in plumbing fees from clogged pipes & sewer issues.
The Warning:
❌DO NOT FLUSH❌
Yes, they are branded as flushable, but I assure you, they are NOT flushable.
I inquired about this to a plumber too, and he was explaining to me that "flushable" wipes create havoc within plumbing systems and they do not breakdown well at all. You will notice on the label it says to "never flush more than one at a time." He said to not flush any at all! See the photo attached to the review.
He told me what to do with them instead.
✔The Solution: Bag it and trash it! 🚮
I know, I know... it sounds a bit gross, but its really not. Let me explain...
Grab a small ziplock bag and put the used wipes in there, then put that ziplock bag in another bag to keep it discreet (you don't want your guests seeing that). Then... when it fills up, simply throw it in the trash. 🗑
Doing this will save your plumbing, and a lot of hassle.
I did some additional research on this before writing this review, and it turns out the plumber was right. A lot of people as an alternate solution simply just throw it in the trash on its own, which is fine if that works for them, but I am a bit more discreet about it.
Do I recommend? Yes. However, with the warning to NOT flush them. 💧 I personally won't go back to TP (but I'll have some available for my guests).
Anyway, that is what I wanted to share and I really hope you found this review helpful to make an informed consumer decision, and also saves you a lot of money because of potential plumbing issues. 🪠
