Once I figured our that I had to have a look at the wires on the ceiling fan and just redo some connections to separate the fan motor wire and the light wire, everything was clear and the rest of the installation was very easy. I already have a couple of kasa smart switch and I'm glad that they came up with this ceiling fan smart switch cause I like to have only one app to control all my smart switches.I attached a couple of pictures with the wiring hoping it could help someone.
Thank you for your feedback

TL;DR: Excellent smart light switch. The Kasa App walks you through the entire installation and made it REALLY easy. Installation took 30-40 minutes without any help. Linking the switch to the Kasa app and wifi was easy. The only odd thing I noticed was that the brightness calibration did not seem to have the degree of sensitivity that it indicates in the app (see full review below).

FULL REVIEW
This is my 7th Kasa smart device and the first smart light switch I've purchased. As someone who is not very handy with household electrical, I found the guided installation instructions in the Kasa app absolutely incredible. The app walks you through every single step with total clarity - there were no instances where I had to guess or try to figure out what the app was asking me to do. Installation took somewhere between 30-40 minutes which included time that I spent running down to our circuit breaker. I was able to complete the installation by myself without any help.

Once the switch was installed, the Kasa app made getting the device linked to my wifi and smart home a breeze. It took maybe one minute to get everything linked up. The setup process was straightforward and easier than I expected.

The only oddity that I noticed was at the setup step for the calibration of the dimmer. During setup, you will be given a slider that will allow you to calibrate the dimmer levels based on the type of bulbs that you are using. The slider shows the lowest dimmer range for both incandescent and LED bulbs, however as I tried to use this, I noticed that my dimmable LED bulbs did not respond to anything but the largest changes on this scale. As I would change the minimum threshold for the dimmer (either up or down), there was no noticeable difference to the brightness of my bulbs. In practice, this doesn't seem to make much of a difference to the actual dimming functionality of the switch.

Also, it doesn't appear that you can control dimness using voice control with Google Home. To change the dimmer settings, you will still need to either control it from the actual switch itself or open the Kasa app on your phone.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this switch. It makes a nice, affordable upgrade and like my other Kasa smart home products is so easy to set up and use. 100% recommended.

Extremely easy to install, because there are ONLY two wire terminals. In our case there were 2 red wires on the Line side (Power side) feeding power, as it turned out one of them continues on to a plug. 60 yrs ago the Sparky did that as a convenience to save himself work. I decided to leave the connections as they were (They worked for over 50 yrs), and connected the wire to the bedroom ceiling light to the Load side of the switch. The rest is just reassembly, and tucking everything neatly inside of the box. I will say that if your light switch IS in a small box, then you should consider upgrading to a larger gang box is my advice. We happened to have a 4x4 box fitted with a single gang plate adapter so space was NOT an issue. So if you have a good sized electrical box installed, this Kasa Smart switch IS the switch for You. It is very intuitive, I never had to read the instructions until I reached the "Program Stage" of this operation. To associate this I was forced to read the paper in the box, and Debb downloaded the Alexa App onto her Google Pixel 6, then open Alexa on your phone go to bottom to devices and Name the switch (Bedroom Light). Once that is done all you need to do is talk to Alexa and say "Alexa Bedroom light on 25%", and Budda-Boom Budda-Bing the light turns to 25% (We had previously installed a Costco dimmable LED Horizon light). The Kasa switch has legacy Up and Down legacy buttons to adjust brightness if you are experiencing Alexa communication issues. It also has a master switch that dominates the switch face, if you touch it for at least 1 second it will turn the light Off or On depending on the current power phase of the Kasa dimmer switch. Final conclusion: This is a very cool device that will help you reach your home automation goals and is very intuitive in design for an easy install if you have a good sized switch box existing for your application. I hope this helps. We are for SURE going to order more of these KASA devices for our home. The price makes home automation very achievable for people on a budget.

I’ve wired my house with both Kaza and Lutron Caseta light switches. The Lutron is the better product as it connects to both Google and Apple HomeKit and is superior quality/aesthetic wise. However, for the price difference and if you don’t need HomeKit, Kaza is the way to go. Kaza is a much better value and works for my purpose.

My setup:
- I have Google home products throughout my house (Hub, mini, thermostat, doorbell) and use “hey Google” to manually operate the lights.
- I also use Google home for automations.
- phone and table is Apple.
- Lutron for all main lights (kitchen, main floor, master bedroom) and Kaza for all aux (bathrooms, bedrooms, fans, basement)

Kaza quality is good, easy to install and set up. Also, no hub required, unlike the Lutron.

The small convenient features like the ability to turn off the LED indicator made this product outstand from the rest besides all the nice features offered by Kasa. My first time doing electrical work it took me about an hour or two because I once had the wires wrong. Easy installation instructions. Now works flawlessly.

These were my first attempt at DIY switch upgrade. I changed two dumb dual fan/dimmer switches for the
Kasa Smart Ceiling Fan switch. Guided setup through the app made it a breeze, so to speak. Also the app calibration upon setup ensured lights transition (bright/dim) optimally on the ceiling fan. They synced easily with Google Home and have worked via voice control and touch on the actual switch. Fairly intuitive design, similar to my previous design but all touch no manual levers. I appreciate the responsive power on/off button, for those wanting to use the manual on/off.

As with all my Kasa devices this connected to my network within moments and operated flawlessly. Perfectly fine motion detection and easy to operate via the app.

A word of warning tho - be aware of the total load you are putting through this device…I had it acting as a switch to a regular power outlet. Perfect…until I pulled 15A through it and it went pop!

I have two of these switches connected to separate lights. They both work perfectly fine, and I have had no issues with connectivity or integrating this device with my smart home. It works great with Home Assistant and Google Home, which are the two, "smart" homes I use.
My biggest gripe with this dimmer switch is that it is difficult to install due to it being significantly larger than most switches. If you have a small electrical box or an electrical box with multiple switches within, this switch will be quite difficult to install.
Overall, this switch works great if you can bend the wires around in the box to install it. I've had no issues with setup, and it works perfectly.
