Per my pictures and short video, I tested this with a Surface Laptop Go as soon as we received it. Very well packaged and presented product by the way. Came with three sturdy cables - HDMI to mini HDMI, USB-C to USB-C and a USB-A to USB-C. The cover that acts as a stand is sturdy enough on a flat surface and grips the bottom of the monitor without it feeling like it's going to slip over. It's thin but not bad at all.
I connected the monitor using type C to C to begin with. Connects quickly. There's an on/off switch at the top of the monitor. Set up via Windows display settings to extend the screen. No problems there - acts exactly like a second monitor should.
With the one cable, the 50% advertised brightness probably isn't enough for most people unless you're working in a dark environment or have the screen set up for email or word processing for example, where the white background would help with contrast. However, plugging in the second cable - type A to C really made a big difference. The HDMI to mini HDMI also worked fine but you still need a second cable for power for the monitor. If you're using something like a Surface Pro or Go, you're a little short of ports, so unless you have some kind of hub you may find yourself needing an extra power source like a battery bank for the extra brightness if you've run out of type C's and type A's on your device. A regular laptop with gazillions of ports wouldn't pose the same problem.
So early impressions are good. Haven't tested the sound as we do not need it for any of our work. The main thing is that for $99 this was good price and if it holds up decently then we'll be happy. If it self destructs within a short space of time I will be updating this review.

The only few cons (that don't bother me as much but I felt it worthy to note) are:
- Low power if only connected to computer and not any other power source. The monitor will emanate device sound but not above a certain volume.
- Brightness/ color limits. I have sensitive eyes & tried to tone it down to the warmest, lowest level of light, still it was not a big change from the default brightness. Colors are also more washed out compared to laptop/ other desktop screens I had, even after messing with the settings.
Overall satisfied with everything that came in this package.

Purchased the Ga01 monitor, on very first game I played after about 20 minutes in the monitor went blank for a second or two then came back. The longer I play the more this happens. Contacted the manufacture and did not hear anything back for a week. They started the trouble shooting “procedure”
which I had already stated in my email that I had done ,( using supplied cables. Swapping outputs, making sure my drivers upto date,) every email they would give me one thing to try and it would take them between 2 days and 1 week to respond. They then asked me to try lower frame rates than the 170 display port that this monitor is supposed to support.
I told them the reason I bought this monitor was for 170 hz and display port. The process took over a month for them to finally come to a conclusion that I could exchange or request a refund however both of these options leaves me without a monitor for 2months, this is an issue because I do work from this computer and cannot be down for that long.
Extremely upset and annoyed with product and the way the manufacture has handled the situation.
Would not recommend.

I paid $611 for this. Good OLED monitor with minimal automation dimming. It will darken the screen when displaying static images for extended periods of time. All the features work as advertised. Getting it to look good is a pain. I would recommend turning on HDR then using the Windows 11 tool to the monitor. AutoHDR will make the rest of the system look acceptable. Audio output from the headphone jack stucks pretty badly. Sounds far away, is quiet, and has no bass.
Pros:
OLED
Very high HDR brightness for W-OLED (~600 nits)
No crazy brightness dimming (still has minor, almost unnoticeable in normal use)
KVM (works as expected)
USB C Video input
USB3 Hub
Fast charging
Nice and easy stand
Neutral:
User interface
RGB (very limited, no screen connected modes (important), disappointing)
Cons:
Audio out sucks
Annoying to setup properly
No HDR adjustment
Adjusting colors is buggy and broken. Once set up it will not forget though.
PIP is locked out by freesync and only supports 4:3
Typos on every menu page
PLEASE RELEASE FIRMWARE UPDATE. THIS MONITOR WOULD BE PERFECT.
Now a ramble about getting this monitor and my thoughts. I wrote this weeks ago.
I want to say that ending up with this monitor was an adventure to say the least. I was looking into OLED monitor, then noticed that an acer was going for $499. As a gamer with a 1440p240 IPS screen I was interested. Hearing what people had to say about OLED and how some people say they would rather game on a 240hz OLED rather then a bad 360hz panel made me look into getting one. After looking into the acer, people were complaining about the systems put in place to protect the screen. I dont like my screen "adjusting" in front of my eyes so i decided to wait it out. Monitor technology always gets cheaper, and I don't mind waiting for something better. As time passes, I periodically check amazon and pcpartpicker for the cheapest OLED monitors and never find anything interesting, until one day, I see this. I look into the listing. Its full of features, has good specs, and is priced pretty decently. In the suggestions, KTC shows up with a similar monitor 50 dollars cheaper. After looking into it, I decide to go for the Koorui because it has faster USB PD output, and the single monitor review I could find at the time said it had no automatic dimming. I try to buy it. Amazon is giving me an error saying the package could not be shipped to my address. I try all of my friends addresses, and post offices near me. Blocked. After much deliberation with amazon and Koorui, 5 days later I'm left high and dry. There is no way for them to send it to washington. I check out the page, and notice a coupon. The monitor was $611. Holy **... I pull the trigger, and ship it to the most northern UPS in oregon along I-5. Time to plan a trip. Long story short, I invite a friend, we drive out to oregon a week later, intercept the delivery driver between his car and the UPS, and get the monitor. I paid 50 dollars for gas that day. Money well saved...
High Refresh Rate: Impressive 165Hz refresh rate at an affordable price, a standout feature compared to other brands.
Quality Display: No dead pixels; the monitor has maintained its performance well over time.
Value for Money: Excellent choice for those seeking a good quality monitor on a budget.
Cons:
Brightness and Contrast Difference: When used alongside a higher-end Samsung curved monitor, the differences in brightness and contrast are noticeable, though not detrimental to the overall experience.
Best Use:
Secondary Monitor: Ideal as a second monitor in a multi-display setup.
Budget Gaming Setup: Suitable for gamers looking for high refresh rates without breaking the bank.
Verdict:
The KOORUI 24 Inch Computer Monitor is a solid choice for anyone in need of a high-performance yet budget-friendly gaming monitor. Its 165Hz refresh rate is particularly impressive for its price range. While there are noticeable differences in brightness and contrast compared to higher-end models, these do not significantly hinder its usability. It functions well as a second monitor or even as a main monitor for budget-conscious setups.
