Great little display for the price
I have been using two monitors for ages, over the last five years I have been using 34" ultra wide monitors paired with a 27" 16x9 monitor, but I decided to try something new and purchased a Samsung CRG9 for gaming. After a couple of days, I was really missing my second display. I usually used it for keeping an eye on my temperatures and clocks while I'm gaming.Needless to say, I thought a portable laptop screen might do the trick. Since it was just for displaying monitoring software I did not need anything high quality or fancy, so I ordered this 15" Koorui.First oops was that I didn't realize my GPU did not have a USBc, but no problem since they also supplied an HDMI cable...oops again, there is no power adapter for the USBc cable...lucky I have a USBc on my motherboard, but they really need to include a power adapter with the monitor.Initial inspection was much better than I thought it would be. The monitor feels a little premium, possibly due to the folio cover.Powering on the device brought up the picture, and I was a little underwhelmed. The picture is slightly dull...just slightly. I tried adjusting the brightness and contrast, but it's as good as it gets. It's not bad really since I'm comparing it to the $1100 monitor above it, but it does do the job of displaying my monitoring software splendidly.A couple of beefs. First, it would have been nice if the cables were longer. I had to use my own USBc cable because the one they provide is only about three feet long. The second is that they, like the rest of the manufacturers, put the ports on the side of the display like a tablet.Come on guys, this is a monitor, not a tablet. As you can see in the picture, the ports sticking out the side are an ugly quality of life issue could easily have been avoided. Recessing them in the back would have been perfect, but having them sticking out the back would hvae been fine as well. Anything but sticking out the side like this.Other than that, it's the little monitor that could. It's working perfectly for the purpose I bought it for. Having it set up this way though, if I had to make the choice again, for this particular usage I would have picked a 14" model. The 15" is a touch too big for this purpose. In any case, if this monitor turns out to be reliable then it's easily worth the price I paid ($117 + Tax). I would recommend it for this purpose.

I bought this because while I love being able to work from home when needed, it's hard with just my work laptop and the small screen. I saw this while ordering a mini-HDMI cable for my DSLR, and was impressed with the price and the number of highly-rated reviews, so I decided to give it a try. There's very little info in the manual so I'm not sure what each USB-C port is for, but I obviously found the power port because I plugged it into my personal laptop and it worked immediately. I love that it has a folding cover like my iPad, and it's so thin, I can store it with my personal laptop or fit it in my work bag. The price was a steal, too! I've sent the link to all my friends who complain about not having a second monitor for WFH days.

Good monitor, good price for what you get.
I use this monitor connected via USB 2.0 from an acer nitro 5 4060.
I only get 120hz refresh rate when connected but thats just a on a per setup basis you still might get 165hz depending on your cords.
The curve to the monitor is very unnoticeable, in my opinion I'd save a few bucks and go with a flat monitor or spend more for more curve.
It feels very sturdy, and the base for the monitor is small enough to fit on my top shelf of my desk which is 6.7 inches, monitor stand only overhangs a tiny bit.
The color is very nice especially considering my laptop is only around 60% SRGB so it is very noticeable when I connect to the laptop.
I reccomend plugging in your cords to the back of the monitor before you attach it to the stand, I had some trouble getting 2 hdmi cords into the back after it was set up.
The monitor doesn't have built in speakers, you need external speakers or a headset to listen to your audio. (I always have a headset on so that's not a deal breaker for me but may be for some)
TLDR; Overall this monitor is a good purchase,
Pros: good color gradient, good image quality, sturdy, responsive, good price.
Cons: Curve is barely noticeable, ports are hard to access, tilt doesn't have big range, no built in speakers.

Pros:
- Cover is actually glued to the backside screen, so it doesn't randomly slip off
- Stand positions are sturdy, no issues with wobbling or support
- Connects to my mac laptop with 1 USB-C cable, power supply not needed*
- Good value.
- Resolution / size ratio is about right. Good enough for remote work sessions, but obviously not as nice as 4k, definitely better on the battery for sure.
Cons:
- No internal state (battery) - so brightness has to be adjusted every time (not a huge deal)
- Not very bright, so using in bright environment such as a well-lit library it can look dim compared to laptop screen.
* Appears that to get extra brightness, needs power supply in addition to USB-C cable connected (again not a huge deal)

So Far, Great Picture
Reviewed in the United States on July 6, 2024
We got this for our kid since he is attends a virtual public school. The curved monitor fits his desk nicely and the curved design is better for his eyes. Now, I didn't think you'd want to see school work (and I didn't want to show it), but some games show the monitor nicely--haha, especially since this is a gaming monitor. The refresh rate is nice and the colors are vivid. This will be great for his eyes. We did have a little trouble locating the power which caused our eldest to laugh at us. The power button is on the right side, on the back, and up a little bit. The stand went on this easily and the whole process (apart from finding the power button) took all of 3 minutes if that. It took us longer to dust the desk off than it did to put the monitor together.
This gets 5 stars. Should something change, or the monitor starts to fail, I will revisit this review with details as to what is happening. As for now, it has earned 5 stars.
Oh, and we do play some games on the computer, too, in addition to off screens fun. "All work and no play"... and all that.

Una ganga por el precio
Reviewed in Mexico on May 24, 2024Size: 27 inch 240HzVerified Purchase
