Pros:
-Very long battery life. I tested the claimed 8.5hour runtime on the highest setting and found this to actually be true. This is an impressive amount of run time even given the large package.
-The rear light is overall fine, it does have a rubber strap and does its job, though its not the big focus here.
-The runtime indicator is a nice feature for knowing when to recharge.
Neutral:
-At first, the main light mount seemed cheap and that it may not grip (no rubber, only plastic), but after mounting it on a bike, it seemed to hold just fine. The light is mounted roughly at its center of mass, so it should be reasonably stable.
-Being able to charge a phone definitely isn't a core function expected from a bike light, but its not a terrible add.
-This unit is very heavy. The long battery life comes at a cost of weight. The metal casing and additional features also add weight.
Cons:
-The biggest knock on this is the massive lie on the lumens specification. This is commonly done on many lights, but it doesn't mean its okay. AS shown in my photo comparing to another bike light specified at 950 lumens from a brand with a long reputation, its clearly offering less lumens. Somewhere in the 750 lumen range is probably more accurate. This is fine for its use case (I typically use the 950 lumen light on a lower setting), but it would be better to just state the real number.
-The lights use two different USB cables. If you were taking these camping or on a trip, you need to remember to have both types of cables. Its a minor annoyance, but there is no reason for it. Using USB-C on both would be an improvement.
Overall, I think its a fine value, given that the runtime is accurate and it will perform as needed. Its heavy, but that weight is tradeoff for more battery life and features. Stating the correct amount of lumens and making the ports the same type would make this a 5 star product.
