Quality stand but function a bit of a hassle.
I use this for a stand for field recording and foley. Works well enough. I like the extension so I don’t need to bring a small boom pole and just need a full one if I need longer reach. The tripod is sturdy enough but to get it to stand the unlocking/locking mechanism would prefer an actually lock than twisting the top to unlock/lock cause it ends up being a bit annoying to play around with to ensure it’s not going to drop. Plus I had to extend it fully in order to be able to get the tripod to stand stable then adjust the poles to the correct height. Not a deal breaker but just not intuitive. Don’t know if there are others at the price point for a quality stand - the next one I was looking at was double the price so for the price point vs the hassle of the functionality I can live with.
