I like Dunlop, they have always been my go-to. I like the thickness of them and the grip print on them. It makes it less likely that you will drop them. I don't play as much these days, and only at home, but no matter how many pics I have, I will always dig around to find that Jim Dunlop one. They are great value for the money. I have bought cheap brands, where you get a lot more, but there is no comparison. The others simply don't last as long, and you are always dropping them, I would rather spend a little extra for these. Excellent quality.

Very good assortment of light to medium gauge picks. I wanted to experiment and try a side-by-side test, to compare sounds when strumming and picking my acoustic guitar. From experience, the thinner the pick, the more flexible/flappier it is, the more the strings will smooth out the dynamic errors you make when strumming your guitar. I have a penchant for Medium gauge plectrums as I find them smoother sounding and good all round for a variety of everyday picking and strumming acoustic guitar use. I’ve listed the plectrums here in order of personal preference from my Favorite to least favorite:

1. .73 Tortex (picking & strumming);
2. .71 Delrin 500 (picking & strumming);
3. .71 Gator Grip (picking & strumming);
4. Medium Celluloid (picking & strumming);
5. .73 Nylon Max Grip (strumming & picking);
6. .73 Nylon Standard (strumming & picking);
7. .60 Tortex (strumming & picking);
8. .60 Ultex (strumming & picking);
9. .58 Gator Grip (strumming);
10. Thin Celluloid (strumming);
11. .60 Nylon Max Grip (strumming);
12. .60 Nylon Standard (strumming).

The first 6 on my list I would use any day of the week, all so very close in playability and sound.

This pack has an assortment of Dunlop picks duh:) And I managed to find my new favorite pick. I like the Tortex and as always a good celluloid pick however my new fav is the Delrin 500 with the grip. Feels secure in your hand and sounds good to boot. That said I found out I don't like nylon. Good variety pack.

Really like the variety of picks to try. There are some textured picks that are great - hadn't seen anything like them previously. There are not any good music/equipment stores around us so this was s great way to try out different picks and figure out what I like - for a very reasonable price.
