Card arrived in 5 days.Looked at instructions and looks easy enough to activate. Other reviews seem good and this card arrives in Canada so no hassle about waiting to get to the U.S. to purchase. You can enter your address in the U.S. where you will stay but nothing will be sent there. I have a lay over flight in the U.S. and will insert the chip then. Avoiding roaming fees by my Canadian Fido plan!

I’ve used a jethro SIM card for two separate trips, and it’s worked really well for both. I had zero issues on my first trip, but on my second I’ve received quite a few spam calls. Customer support was quick to respond to my email regarding it and gave some suggestions on how to fix. The calls are an inconvenience but it’s not a deterrent for using jethro in the future!

Purchased the USA Sim card to be used when we travel to the USA shortly. Jethro mobile seemed to offer very competitive rates or even the best rates out of the numerous choices that are available. We have not used the service yet but will update the review once we have used the service. I did create an online account but called in to work through the activation process. It was very easy to do online but did call in to walk through the activation process just to avoid any problems. Got excellent friendly service from Angie. So far the overall experience with Jethro mobile has been excellent. I was able to pre activate the card to a specific date in the future when we will actually be travelling. So nice to get this all looked after prior to heading out on vacation. Thank You, Angie, for the good service.
Update March 2024:
We have returned from our planned vacation to Arizona and am providing an update as to how the sim card performed while travelling.
The Pros:
-Sim card worked excellent
-Installed the sim card when we crossed the border and everything just worked.
-We travelled some pretty uninhabited areas in our travels and with the exception of a couple of miles here and there always had cell service. I would say we had service 99.9% of the time and it was never more than a minute or two at a time when cell service dropped.
-Hiked a lot of fairly remote areas in high mountain uninhabited areas and cell signal was always available.
-A number of people in other reviews mentioned getting calls for other people as apparently phone numbers are sometimes recycled. We never experienced that to be a problem. We had one call over a 5 week period from someone trying to sell something.
-Would definitely use Jethro mobile again in future travels
The Cons:
-Do not have a single complaint. Everything worked seamlessly.

I ordered the Jethro SIM card from Amazon.ca after speaking to a friend about long distance calling from the USA to Canada. The card arrived quickly. Setting up was easy following the instructions on the website. I had one small issue with the card not activating but that was resolved by the customer service representative named, Anahi. She was awesome and helped sort this issue out. I had picked a Zip code area that had very few phone numbers to choose from. I picked another area with Anahi’s suggestion and where I was travelling and received a confirmation and new number quickly. Anahi also explained some extra service that come with the SIM card.
