I love my Steam Deck but do not like how smooth it feels. If you're like me and get the gamer sweats the Deck will feel unsecure in the hand. That is no longer a problem with the mod case! The texture is top notch with this case. It is not too aggressive where it hurts but has just enough traction to feel secure in the hand. The case conforms with the Deck's nice curves as well. It feels natural in the hand. The covered power and volume buttons are nice to have as most cases leave them as open holes. Before I had this case I would miss the power button trying to turn the Deck on at night. Haha. The metal kickstand works great and it is removable. (Just push it from the top and it will slide it down and off.) I have a third party dock but for those who bought the official dock Jsaux includes a nice dock extender piece. The travel cover is awesome to have. It keeps the Steam Deck slim for travel. It also works with my Dbrand thumbstick covers! And lastly you can still use the original Steam Deck travel case if you want. You do need to apply a bit of pressure to get it to zip close. I'm surprised it fits even with the kickstand on still! It is great to know encase you damage or lose the travel cover that you can use your original case no problem. I originally bought the SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro case for my Steam Deck but I ended up returning it because it was so uncomfortable to use. The mod case is the best one that I know of on the market. The Dbrands case is a nice option too but it costs more and I honestly think the mod case is better.

The case is awesome! Feels great in the hand and fits in my bag when traveling. Absolutely love this case. It covers the joysticks so well and offers much better grip then the stock experience where the palms grip it. The kickstand is good, it's serviceable, nothing bad about it.
Would not go without this covering the front of my Steam Deck honestly.

The case is good so far, adds a bit of weight but fits nicely on the Deck and feels alright in the hand. The kickstand doesn't latch into place but it's firm enough that it doesn't flap about. The buttons are covered but easy to press, all connectors remain accessible. The grip is okay, a slight improvement over nothing. I haven't tried the accessory adapter belt on the back yet, but it appears to be well made and has a nice stretch to it for properly securing things like battery packs. The faceplate slips on nicely and protects the entirety front of the Deck.

The dock adapter is atrocious, I don't know why they even include it. It fits alright (at best) on the dock, but it's flimsy and does nothing to stop the Deck from sliding out. Worse still, it has edges around the bottom that lift the dock up a few millimetres, which means the anti-slip coating underneath doesn't touch the surface. I don't trust the deck in it so I just use the kickstand and place it beside the dock instead.

4 stars, the dock adapter is horrendous but it was an extra in my eyes so I won't dock the overall product too harshly because of it. Buy this for the case and the case alone.

Great case for the steamdeck, it’s overall an easy to use and sturdy case that should protect the deck relatively well. Now some issues I have are the flimsiness of the stand and the gaps for the top cover, I feel these could have been remedied but overall the case is fine. It looks fine with the transparent smoky back and laser cut grips, it’s not massive so it doesn’t take up too much room in my bag, and the rails allow you to add functionality to the case. I recently modded my deck with the Monoblock cooler and had the jsaux vented back, but I wanted to really push the cooling performance and added on a jsaux external fan that slides onto the case, and it worked perfectly, keeping my dock nice and cool. This case is versatile and comfortable, and if you’re clever and armed with a 3d printer, I feel you add more accessories to it if you can design something for the rails.
