I have a Pixel 8 and it would skip the first second or two of each song or audiobook chapter.

Using the new 32 bit DAC and a regular aux cord the problem has gone away. Too bad it didn't work!

I got and adapter at the gas station when I reaized my new phone had no AUX port. It was not great, the sound was MEH, the bass was terrible and it would play 2 songs if I was lucky before I had to unplug and plug it back into my phone.
This cord BRAVO 👏🏾! Every complaint I had about the gas station cord, non existent. The sound is amazing, no issues with connection, here and there a song won't play but I just need to go to the next one and go back, no need to unplug. The bass is stellar!
The braided design makes it really durable. My AUX port is in my center cosole so a durable cord is a must, I have zero fears that this cord will fray at any point. I am buying an extra just because.
If it was not evident, I would DEFINITELY recommend 👍🏾
