Great value for the money. It worked very well with my Sony A6000 and A55. It only takes still pictures with my A55 but this is expected because the A55 has a separate video button and video can not be chosen with a function switch. The A6000 uses a function switch to choose between still shots and video. The 2 second shutter works also for both cameras. It works amazing!
One important thing to remember when testing it is to make sure that the camera is either in the "still shooting mode" or "video mode" and not on "playback mode". Pressing a button in the remote will not set the camera to take stills or movies. This have to be set in camera.
