How to Install?

  • Step 1: Sliding the U-type handle into the groove of the quick release plate.
  • Step 2: Mount the quick release plate to the camera.
  • Step 3: Simply slide the U-type handle to adjust horizontally.

Its purpose if to focus and magnify the camera LCD screen. It doesn't. The focal point is about an inch from where it sould be when the hood is installed. The photo shows where focus is found. The pruduct is useless unless you want to build out an extension frame to meet the LCD screen. Not sure how this got past JJC QC, usually their stuff is good. If it focussed it would be quite a good product, but it doesn't.

I have a Pentax Q7 that has no viewfinder just an LCD panel. In the summer in bright light it makes it hard to see your pictures when shooting outdoors. I tested this and it works great. I have seen the exact same thing from other companies for hundreds of dollars. This was very inexpensvie and the quality was great. I also have great eyesight. I hear people with poor vision may find it blurry.

It's very flimsy. Also just be aware that it doesn't fit so well with a camera cage. It works good but the fact that the viewfinder kinda flops around is a deal breaker for me 🤷‍♂️

After watching the video provide I decided to buy it. But was disappointed and return it. The build quality is great. Design is very thoughful. But the biggest flaws is the lens is out of alinement so the image was burry, it seem like a very a -3 far sighted glass. How I know is I do wear glass and I need to take off my glass to see through in order to see a sharp image. Or I have to push viewfinder 1cm. away from the screen to get it in focus. Doing so I let light come in from the side. They should have added a eye adjustment diopter of it. Unless without it.

It's well built with good materials, no strange smell at all. The design is great that I can slide it on and off my camera easily. The flap to unscrew the unit is hold onto the base with strong magnets, no worries about losing it. It's so compact that I can still use my very small carrying case with the viewfinder attached. Happy about the purchase
