The inside could be softer and the edges feel sharp with friction
This is the second ipad case that I use for my 9th generation ipad model. The previous model (another brand) did a good job protecting my tablet when it fell but it cracked the case so I had to change it.I decided to try this brand since it had even more good reviews than the previous brand I tried but, now that I've tried it, I'm not too sure why it's so popular.In the picture in my review you can see my current case (papaya orange) and the old one I had (dark green).This current model does a great job holding the iPad securely and feel sturdy so that's awesome but the inside of the case (the part that touches the screen when closed and touches your hands when you hold the tablet) is what I've got a problem with; it's barely soft (my old one was so velvety soft that I could comfortably rest my hands on it) and the edges are quite sharp.I use my iPad to play games so I hold the iPad continuously for at least 1 hour in one go and I move my hands constantly to direct my game character. Therefore there is constant friction between the sharper edges of the case (the other half of the case that lays on the screen) and the side of my hands; it feels really uncomfortable. I tried adjusting the way I hold the tablet while playing to avoid touching the side of the case but anyone who plays games knows that if you are not completely comfortable with your hold then your response time in the game will be lower and you're probably just going to lose the game.Compared to my old model, I like this model less and think they should improve the inside of the case and, especially, polish the edges.
