No real big improvement in sound compared to old speaker. My personal opinion is the older JBL Xtreme 1 sounds better.
Better off buying new battery to bring the older JBL to life again.

The product arrived well packaged . I opened it up and was pleasently surprised ! It appears well built and sturdy . The plug port in the rear seems durable . Some products have a thin rubber cover that u worry u can pull off by accident . This is thicker . The on/off volume up down are also a durable rubber covered . The speakers on either end give beautiful bass for such a small unit . The overall construction is esthetically pleasing and well built . Im happy with the volume u get out of it . Nicely fills my living room , and the sound is impressive . The solid mounting bars on top of the unit attatch a nicely made strap with a silk feel to it . Although i feel it was a bit more money than i wanted to spend i am happy with my purchase !
