I had used eero in the past with my rogers internet where you get an extra hub and loved it. Buying this was a very easy decision.I live in a 3 story 1700 Sq ft home and was having difficulty with my Bell internet on the top floor where my bedrooms are, especially the corners. I also have Google Nest outdoor cameras that struggle to connect to the wifi.I installed one in the living room, one in the basement and one in one of the rooms upstairs that's closest to my outdoor cams. I havent had one dropped signal or dead spot since buying this product. If you're looking to buy it, you will be making a great decision. A quick tip for you - install them on 3 different floors and on opposite ends. If you have it in the right corner of your basement, do the left corner of your living room and either right or center of your top floor which allows full coverage of your entire home.It doesn't necessarily connect to the one on the floor you're on, I have noticed that it would connect to the one in the same corner on the floor below. I run speed tests every other day and the speed has not changed. It's still the same for download and upload since I bought it.It also allows you to manage your internet connection, especially if you have kids who won't put down their phones. You have full control over dinner, study and bedtime. As shown in the pic, I have mine mounted with a two way tape.

I have been using this mesh wifi system for over a week now and I am really happy with it. Its has considerably improved the wifi signal strength across my house and boosted speeds to almost all corners of the house. Set up was easy and took minutes and the app is useful and informative as well.

I am very pleased with the router. I replaced the Internet service provider's old router where I had half the speed that I am supposed to have and where I couldn't reach the farthest room for certain devices. After placing the 3 routers at one end of the condo, in the middle, and at the other end, I have coverage everywhere. My download speed is now what I am paying for.

I have Amazon Echo Dot devices and by selecting the option 'Eero Built-in Capable', Eero uses these devices as a bridge when they are closer to devices than one of the routers. Since I have the Echo Dots in most rooms, they can give even better coverage.

The app is very easy to use and allow you to name devices when it does not know what the device is. This makes it very easy to see what is connected to your network. You can also set up notification in case any devices connect to your network. If you don't know what they are, you can block them.

The 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands are combined, meaning that you only need to have one network name (SSID). The router will connect to the device, based on its requirements. For some 2.4GHz devices that won't connect, you can tell the router to pause the 5GHz band for 10 minutes in order to connect the 2.4GHz devices.

All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

Easy to install and it works nicely. But not able to access the setup through PC like other routers. Only through iOS or Android. It cannot disable the SSID broadcast and cannot set MAC Filtering. So I personally feel it is less secure than regular routers, although it said you can subscibe eero Secure with a monthly payment.
The app is extremely well design. Very easy to use. It can even notify your phone whenever a new device connected to your network. So you can monitor your network yourself anywhere anytie to increase some security.

I have a 3600 square foot home. My WIFI has sucked since I installed it. It has been erratic. I pay for 150mbps. On a really good day I get 50mbps at the router and some days 5mbps. In my upstairs office, I would get "your signal is unstable errors" on internet conference calls. The speed was unpredictable. I tinkered with router settings, configuration, placement, etc. with no luck. I bought a WIFI extender in an effort to fix the issue.

Great news: I installed the Eero system today. Boom, problem solved. I am now getting 120-145mbps all through my house. I researched a lot of systems and looked at a lot of "top 10 routers" and "top mesh systems" reviews. The Eero received great reviews overall and I felt had a great price to performance ratio. Considering I am paying for 150mbps and am now getting up to 145/147mbps on many of my tests, I'd say the performance is very good.

Set up time was about 15-20 mins. You download an app to start and it guides you through the process.
I also have an "internet switch" that I use to connect my TV (IPTV), my wireless camera system, etc. There are two LAN ports on the Eero "pod". Connect your modem to one of the ports and connect your switch to the other. I mention this as I saw a review somewhere where the reviewer said there was an issue adding other devices. I have an 8 port switch and can connect whatever I want. You can also add devices into the ports at the other pods.

I am very happy with this purchase.

I had high hopes for this mesh wifi system given the overall good ratings.
Very easy to install and the app is good...BUT....

At first I used it as my secondary network given that we both work from home and I didn't have time to reconfigure all the smart devices. We did notice the eero device in the kitchen losing its connection from time to time but didn't worry too much about it....BIG MISTAKE! (Later found out that the 3rd eero in my wife's office almost constantly had a red light - meaning it wasn't connected to the network).

When I finally got around to using it as my main network I soon realized that no matter where I placed the 3rd eero device in my house (it's about 2700 sq. ft., a far cry from the advertised 5000 sq ft!) that it would simply NOT connect (or stay connected for more than a few minutes) even if it was literally 5 to10 feet from the 2nd device in another room. And I tried everything - tried all 3 of them as the main gateway, positioned them all in different rooms, removed my switch from the network, disconnected my other router (from my original network), I mean I tried EVERYTHING. Unfortunately it's now too late to return it.

I've been in touch with their tech support, and the guy has been helpful at first, but now we're at a point that I've tried everything and it's obviously not working, so I'm asking them to send me a replacement system but they won't. They keep insisting that we have to prove that the system is faulty! The 3rd device doesn't connect, what more do they want! He wants me to try a new ethernet cable that connects my modem to the gateway; how is this relevant with the 3rd device not connecting wirelessly to the network?
(At this point I'm not even asking for the internet to work on the eero system, I'm simply asking for the 3 devices to be able to connect when placed at reasonable and useful areas in my house!)

Another major issue I had with their system is that if I connect my AppleTV (with an ethernet cable) to one of the eero device (which is also connected by cable to the eero gateway), the AppleTV won't stream as well as when it's connected (by cable) to my switch (which is connected directly to my modem). I can watch some movies on Netflix and after 15 minutes or so it will start buffering (which it NEVER does with my other setup) or worst, Netflix will simply report an error and stop working (again never happened with my other setup).

I did also experienced slower speeds from time to time as reported by other users, when connected to eero compared to my other router (which is 5+ years old). Even doing speed tests simultaneously with my iPad connected to eero and my iPhone connected to my other router would reveal slower speed on eero - not always, but from time to time, eero is noticeably and annoyingly much slower.

Needless to say, I'll be shopping for another system mainly because support won't send me a replacement system.
