Good Remote
As per my video this isn't a bad remote. Pretty good for the most part. Things to highlight- Find Alexa doesn't always work. You can download the Fire TV App and control your TV through your device. It's not user friendly but you can also ask for it to Search for your Device. I find this option a hit and miss and shouldn't be a strong buying point.- 2 Short Cut Buttons to customize Apps that you want to launch right away. I like this feature.- Bluetooth Headset Pairing. I used my Beats and was able to pair the Device with my Smart Home TV and watch TV. You would need a Smart TV with Bluetooth to activate this feature- Settings Icon is on the Remote so easy to press and go to the Settings Screen as opposed to clicking the Home Button and toggling over.- Alexa Button when pressed once will open a Menu of all your Smart Home Devices connected through the Alexa App. You can control these features/settings on your TV.- Backlight feature isn't a major draw for me. Nice to have nothing that I would say is a game changer. I watch TV with the lights dimmed but since I'm scrolling more with the track pad, there isnt really a need to have the rest of the remote illuminate. I don't need to enter the Channel # etc. After awhile you will get used to where the buttons are.The Remote does operate smoothly and I am able to scroll quite quickly. I think this is good overall but simple enough to operate with some nice added features.
