I bought two Ring doorbells last year and bought two of the new cameras to supplement the perimeter video surveillance for my house.
The cameras were easy to prepare and install in my yard. They easily connected to my wifi network and the Ring network for remote storage of the data and images.
Everything worked perfectly and the remote connection to my system has been great.

Claim that the battery will last 6 months is a complete lie. One lasted 4 weeks and the second just over 5. It is not worth it when you need to take it down and charge the battery so often.

I was excited for this launch until I found out it is still 1080p video. Ring is not listening to their clients and just marketing the 3rd gen Stick Up Cam as a Pro version with a much higher price tag. At this price point your better off getting an Arlo Pro. If this lack of innovation continues it will be the downfall of Ring. Wish I wasn't so investment in their ecosystem.

Instale la cámara y en una semana se consumió la batería hablé a soporte técnico me ayudaron a modificar y hacer pruebas con otra batería de repuesto y igual se consumió la batería en una semana después me cambiaron el equipo por uno nuevo y sigue igual las baterías son pésimas no sirve de nada tener una cámara de baterías si tienes que cambiarla cada semana y dura más de 5 horas en cargarse
