Your Ring videos in the cloud are stored temporarily, up to 180 days. Changing your video storage time will only affect videos that are recorded after you adjust your storage time setting. C'est une caméra branché, et avec le branchement je perdais le signal wifi régulièrement. La dernière fois, je l'ai laissé sur la batterie, et depuis ce temps je n'ai jamais perdu la connectivité. Est-ce une coïncidence que pour une raison quelconque, que lorsque alimentée par la batterie, la connectivité est meilleure.

Good customer support had an issue. Prompt testing and replaced but Ring. But issue really is the batteries I bought on Amazon that were for Ring not by Ring and work on my Door Video cam 3 but not on this unit at least from a battery health check perspective. This product is good. Ring engineer good products. I did plug in plus battery to an outside setup I have for fountain and lights. Works like a charm.

Very happy with this purchase, I have two other door bell Rings front and back, but could not see where i park my truck. I tried another Security system, that supplied my internet and tv phones, but was not happy with the picture quality, or features, and a 5 year sign up to pay for the equipment...I canceled within 2 days
So I dont have some of the features of the security option, that included carbon monoxide, smoke detection, water in basement detection, and front/back door detection (which I already had a front and back door bell ring anyway, so it meant nothing) or the monitoring feature by the company.... but for a fraction of the cost I have a great camera, that works well with my other two cameras, and I monitor it myself. Who needs the fire department breaking in to a false alarm, If im not home.

This camera is great when it works...which is not very often. It loses connection to WIFI. I have to go up on a ladder to reset it. Reset button doesn't work. Have to unplug it, wait a bit, then it enters set up mode.
Customer service told me my WIFI signal was too weak. I bought a WIFI extender, and placed it near the camera. WIFI still drops off.
Customer service refused to send me a new one.
Cancelled my "ring protect", which was $150 per year CDN
Do yourself a favor...buy google nest, this product is not worth it
Edit- I was contacted by Ring support and they went over my problem with me. After speaking to them they agreed it was not normal behaviour for the camera to go offline and they would send me out a new one.
Received the new one today. Installed it and it seems to be working fine.
I wish the initial contact with Ring had been better, but once it was escalated to the tech department their service was excellent
I have changed my rating to account for the excellent tech support I received.

This was very easy to set up and install. It covers such a wide range and we can set our motion zones so people walking on the sidewalk won’t trigger an alert.

We now know when the mail arrives, a parcel arrives, or someone is in our driveway whether they should be there or not. It did catch someone snooping around our driveway and checking our vehicles to see if they were unlocked. Because of the instant alert we were able to scare him off.

This replaced a Nest camera that gave us next to no alerts even when someone slashed one of our tires.

The Ring camera is SO much better and complements our security system.
