Only problem with it was that it was missing an oar ring, so one oar was not properly locked into place and could be lost if you were not paying attention

I got it for its super light weight, with the expectations that it can't take tough situations, but should be fine for calm water like small galcier lakes, so I can take it on backcountry camping trips.
I carefully chose the place to launch( no branches, no rocks), picked out tiny gravels that fell into it during assembling. Though, when I sit in it in shallow water, I fell the bottomed of the boat touched the bottom of the lake. No sharp objects there cause I can see it and felt it through the boat. I paddled to deeper water immediately, but this touch still made a tear on the boat.
I thought about giving it 2 stars, but eventually decided to give it 3 stars, because it till floated after the bottom became flat, so I made it back safely, and it is cheap. I might in bad luck as well cause I read reviews in which people took it to lakes even slow rivers or calm shore before. I didn't expect it has so little abrasion.
I think it is sufficient as a pool floater, but too risky to take it outdoor, even for calm lakes.

His loss, though, because I've taken it out numerous times, already, and come back safely and worn out from paddling. That last part's a good thing because I wanted exercise from this venture. I haven't had a leak, yet, but -- mind you -- I take care of what I buy. I deflate it on the dock on a towel and wipe off with a hand towel as it's getting smaller. I keep rope tied in several places and have one metal clip on the front end, and nothing's caused a leak or rusted, etc. I fold it up and put it into a bag with my inflatable safety vest.
The only thing I dislike is that it
What I don't like is that it's hard to steer and paddle in any one direction. You have to really practice to make it go where you choose. As is, the design with the bulbous front end and the high walls isn't made for one person boating. I've had lots and lots of time spent spinning in circles and you have to pay attention to the direction and strength of the current. Sitting in it, I'm reclined backward and too low to actually reach the water well with the oars in the holders. I had to DIY a makeshift bench out of half a tree stump, to temporarily sit in until I can find something better that either inflates or I put a solid floor in the bottom. Yes, I plan to do that. I also plan to put some type of rudder on the back to keep it going in a straight line. And, practice, practice!
Because this is pivotal to my use of the boat, I'll go on. As designed, if you kneel in the middle of the boat, your knees poke down below the plane of the water surface, only raising the high sides higher around that point. Being the only person in the boat makes all of the boat rise as I sink and my ice chest and backpack falls over -- spilled drinks, ice cold water in my swimsuit and wet gear.
I recommend a boat with a seat built into the design, unless you will always have two-three people inside. Intex boats seem to be sturdy. Tie a rudder on somehow. I recommend you carry your belongings in a true dry bag. For one rower, you can arrange the oars into one long oar to paddle like in a kayak, but you're still rather low in the boat. It's just not convenient and almost not steerable. But, remember I said I wanted exercise from this so I'll have to put that elbow grease in to make it work. You may have other priorities, so I wanted to explain that.
