  • Note: The mounting hole on the Yeti Mic is sometimes just a tiny portion bigger than the 5/8" industry standard. You are suggested to use Thread Tape (included) to wrap around the mounting screw on your shock mount. This will effectively increase the thickness of the mounting screw, while still maintaining the actual screw thread and will enable you to connect to your Yeti.

This microphone arm stand is made of durable steel. Being exceptionally light in weight, its position can easily be shifted on stage or moved easily from one place to another. Adjustable Angle

The suspension boom scissor arm stand in fully adjustable in all parts. The arms of the stand are extensible in 135° back and forth, and 180° up and down, enabling you to adjust the suitable angle and height to show your perfect voice.

Strong Loading Capacity

The max load bearing capacity of the stand is 3.3 lb with the default set. But the bearing capacity can be lifted up if you set the spring to the second hole. The heavy duty stand will hold your microphone or webcam tighly without dropping or shaking.

I have a relatively light microphone on it. But it works great. I wish it had better cable management channels but it was less than 20$ so you can only expect so much. Moves where I need it to and easily away when I don't need it. Has never once fallen off the desk or anything like that. The grips aren't perfect sometimes it'll slide a little bit on the desk but for less than 20$ it works great.

I read up on a lot of the different microphone arms available. For these cheaper ones, people often complained about them being less sturdy, noisy, or breaking easily. I got this about two weeks ago. So far, it's done everything I've expected it to be able to do. It was easy to install and manipulate. No noise at all when moving it. It seems reasonably sturdy and holds my mic where I want it without moving. Obviously for professional podcasters or musicians, then this arm might not be sufficient quality. But for my amateur requirements, it is more than fine. Great bang for the buck.

It holds up my fifine microphone well due to the microphone's light weight. If you have a heavy mic I wouldn't recommend this product however. I've been using it for half a year and the springs are still holding strong. Great value for low price. The range of motion is a limited in comparison to more expensive ball rotation mic arms. But it gets the job done

My Set Up - Back to front:
Samsung 32" 4k Monitor with a monitor light (try it, wow!), and two webcams, on a arm attached to the desk
3 laptops open sharing the 32" monitor, 4th laptop to the side closed
Logitech keyboard & mouse being shared by the 4 laptops.

You guessed the problem - no room for the Yeti USB mic! This arm solves that problem. It's attached to the back of the desk to the side of the monitor, pivots nicely when needed over the leftmost laptop.

Bottom Line:
The physics and angles of suspending a heavy-ish mic over $8000k plus of computing equipment are interesting and yet this works. Mic is off screen when on cam, and I just pivot it away otherwise. I'm no AV pro, however have used a lot of tripods and booms etc. It's not rock solid however it does the job, frees up so much space it's remarkable for the price.

This is pretty much the best "cheap" mic arm you can buy. (For anyone wondering, yes, it can hold the weight of a Blue Yeti mic.) It has a 360 degree range of motion and can be unattached from the clamp and reattached to another if you buy multiple clamps and set them up, removing the need to always remove the clamps from your space every time. It feel VERY sturdy, this thing is not gonna be giving way anytime soon. The clamp itself feels very sturdy and secure, and it has a small padded area underneath the contact point to reduce wear on the surface it's attached to. The different angles you can set it at are held in place with knobs that are very easy to adjust. The only downside to this product is that the upper half of the mic arm doesn't move independently from the bottom, so in order to turn the arm in the direction you want, you have to turn the whole arm from the bottom. For me personally, this isn't an issue, but I could see how some people would want to be able to position both halves of the arm. Other than that, I would highly recommend this mic arm for beginners/a lower budget.
