The lamp is great and having the fan is just an added value to the set. My only couple of problems with it is that the fan speed isn't that great, there are only two speeds and one of them is very low. It can't really be relied on for a hot summer night. On the plus side, the fan doesn't make any noise which is great. Also, the plastic used on the battery lid and the hook aren't very robust. I worry I may snap them every time I use the lamp.

My husband and I bought this for our camping trip and while we absolutely loved the design and style of it, the fan itself was incredibly weak which was a huge disappointment. We definitely loved that it could easily hang from the top of our tent and was incredibly lightweight overall with a decently bright light, but the fan was less than ideal even at the high setting with brand new high quality batteries put in. We couldn't even hear it running and it provided 0 air flow and circulation within our tent due to which we did return the product in the end. If they can just improve that aspect, we would totally purchase it again because overall the product was great!

With all the rechargeable items out there this is the only one Ive seen battery powered. Once that lithium has lost its charging capacity its garbage. This on the other hand uses disposable so it will last longer than cheap rechargeable

Got this for Camping mostly for the fan for my hubby who needs it to be cooler at night to sleep. This trip we didn't need the fan. It doesn't come with batteries and it does state that. The part where the batteries go however....the first time I tried to open it, it didn't budge or move for a long time even though I was twisting it right. nothing broke on it but after getting it off, putting in the rechargeable batteries we got to go with it. The top where the handle and hook are, come off way too easily, with hardly any effort even picked it up off the table and it popped off. Luckily it didn't come off while hanging in the tent above us but still. The light is very weak for LED. It has to be fairly dark out for the light to really make any difference. doesn't work well for a flashlight outside of the tent. I used it to take with me to walk to the washroom at 2 am. I'm 5'7" and it didn't really light up the ground at my feet with my arm at hip level holding it. it does light up a tent decently though so if your using it for just the tent, then yeah, it's a good light. the low setting of the fan is weak, high is about as good as a small desk fan. didn't use it enough to know how fast it drains the 2 D batteries that it needs to run it. would recommend rechargeable D batteries for it just encase.

I bought 3 of these. You can hang them from you tent, canopy etc. Or sit them down on the side. Very adjustable. You can use the fan and light together at the same time or just one or the other. On high fan I got about 8 hours before it slowed down with fresh energizer batteries. We are ordering more to put at each table while camping, since it's so humid out where we are to keep ourselves cool. The light is fairly bright and illuminates the entire inside of my 10 person cabin-like tent. Worth the purchase in my opinion.
