Our living room is not very large so we ordered two, one for each end of our sofa. They arrived within a couple of weeks. Assembly was easy, lamps are quite sturdy, not at all tippy. The only drawback is that the dimmest setting is too bright, but that's just our preference so will be replacing the bulbs that were included for lower wattage tri-light bulbs.

The lamp was easy to assemble and looks good. The bulb changes color every time it's power cycled so every time you turn on the lamp it's a different color. It doesn't remember the setting. It also got very warm for an LED bulb, almost too hot to hold. I swapped it out for a regular LED and it's been much better.

When I get the box, I was surprised how soft the material is and wonder how it can hold the floor lamp without damaging it. Luckily, Amazon did put a Amazon brand box on to protect it.

Compare to my old floor lamps, this one is tiny in terms of the materials - see pic. It fits the lamp shade, though.

I put it together without thinking carefully nor look at the instruction book - wait, was there one?

Anyhow, it's really easy to just screw the sticks together, screw on the lamp head, the support and wait, why is it so ugly and not like the picture on Amazon - see pics :-O

Oh O, I got it wrong.

So I remove the lamp shade, turn the support upside down.

Voila - now it looks normal :)

There is a foot switch, really, you just tap it using your foot. It either switch on or change color or turn off.

You can choose from Cold White, Warm White and Warm coloring. The cool whit is bright - see pics. Yet, it doesn't shine far enough to light up the whole room. We like the warm color. It's gentle and makes the room is welcoming while bright enough to see.

I would not put this next to a sofa that people can run into it. It fits to be at the corner. The base is large and stable. But there is no weight to the whole thing. I suspect it will fly across the room if you bump into it. Now it sits in the corner of our bedroom.

The switch is a mechanical switch. That's a good thing. It allows me to plug it into a timer or a smart outlet to turn in on / off automatically.

For $40, I would think twice before hit the order button. For $25, it's a great piece to decorate your room.

The floor button lets you toggle between the warm or coolers bulb temperatures if you click it quickly. Otherwise, it will remember your preferred setting. I did have to smoothen out and refold part of the lamp shade, but it’s ok.

From the minute I began to assemble this pole lamp I realized that it was going to be a problem. It is extremely lightweight to the point where I have had to situate it in a corner where there will be no traffic from pets or even humans for that matter. It is so wobbly that if I just touch the pole there is motion, so I can't even place it by an open window for fear that a breeze will knock it over. The lampshade is cheap looking and folds like paper with a velcro closure. When I finished assembling the lampshade, even after many attempts it still looks crooked. This means that I have had to position the lamp in such a way that one side of the lampshade is hidden from view. The only good thing I can say about this pole lamp is that it has a solid foot control to turn the light on and off with, which is very convenient, and that the lighting itself has three brightness options which is nice. Overall though, this floor lamp is a hard pass for me and I would not recommend it at any price.
