They work great for waterproof mascara. I was extremely happy with these wipes until I got to the bottom of the container and saw this brown stuff on the pads/container itself.

This is my second time buying these. I wanted some portable eye makeup remover pads for those nights that I am either tired or in too much pain (I have severe chronic pain) to use my normal, more expensive eye makeup remover in the bathroom with makeup cleansing pads. I’m pretty minimalist/simple with makeup, but I always use eyeliner, eyeshadow, and usually mascara. The exact mascara I use sometimes changes, but it is always waterproof. These little eye makeup removing swabs are actually quite impressive. They’re not the most gentle on the eyes, but I have sensitive skin and I have never had a reaction or redness or any pain from these. Some nights I actually go over my eyes with them once more after using my normal eye makeup remover, just to make sure it’s all gone. I always have these by my bedside, and when we travel I always bring them since it’s easier than bringing my liquid eye makeup remover and I don’t have to be worried about leaks like I would with the liquid stuff. This stuff gets off all my eye makeup, every time. Sometimes it does take two swabs, depending on how much makeup I have put on that day, but I don’t mind that part as these are very affordable.

Best makeup remover I have ever tried. Beats micellar water, any water based makeup remover, oil based remover, and cleansing balms.

Pros -
- Very gentle on eyelashes (Usually don’t lose any or only 1 when removed right! Place on lashes for 5 seconds then gently wipe)
- REMOVES WATERPROOF MASCARA. I am not joking with this one, this has removed a waterproof mascara that is VERY waterproof
- Good for sensitive eyes. I have ezcema on my eyelids and surprisingly, this doesn't irritate them!

Cons -
- Drys out sometimes (Close the lid properly! Some of the pads at the top dried out..)
- Doesnt last too long.
Already bought two in the past couple months. As someone who wears mascara daily, ive gone through one of these and now close to being done my second one. But for the price i say its not a big problem

Overall trust me and buy this!!

My eyes are really sensitive and I have a drawer in my bathroom filled with eye makeup removers I cannot use because they burn/ sting my eyes so badly. I've purchased luxury brand eye makeup removers and drug store brand eye makeup removers. You name it, I have it, and I can't use any of them because they burn my eyes. Even the ones everyone swears won't, that are supposed to be hypoallergenic, made for sensitive eyes, etc. I just don't tolerate any of them.

I heard of this brand and decided on a whim to add it to my cart one day. I needed something to get me over the threshold to get free shipping. I didn't have high hopes. I totally expected a big, fat, fail. So imagine my utter shock when these pads did not burn or sting my eyes, did not irritate them whatsoever. I've been buying them ever since. And just this kind- the pads. Amazon actually has the best price for them too. It takes off mascara, eyeshadow, matte lipsticks that won't come off with anything else, and even strong eyebrow gels and creams. There is a slight, very slight, oiliness to it which doesn't irritate my eyes at all, I like it because I think it helps to moisturize the eye area a little, and if it bothers you, you can always take some water and just wipe it off.

If they ever stop making these eye makeup remover pads I don't know what I'll use

If you use magnetic liner...you KNOW. It's so hard to get that stuff off. These wipes work like a charm. No rubbing, just a few swipes and you are good to go. Non irritating, non greasy. I've used some eye makeup remover and your eyes get a little foggy afterwards, none of that. They last a good little bit too. There is a decent amount where you are not running out any time soon.

I love using these to take off my mascara at the end of the day. It’s a very oily-feeling product and the makeup just slides off. My eyelashes are fragile so I don’t like scrubbing with soap and water because I end up losing too many lashes. Instead I use one of the cotton pads, and it comes right off. If the makeup is thick I might use one per eye. I do understand it’s not super environmentally friendly but this is one of the few single-use products I buy. Will repurchase for sure.

The only other mascara remover I've found that takes it off is the expensive brand that makes the mascara... and then I got this for my daughter who wears a light weight mascara.
