The Inseego unit I received came with “all” the listed accessories (two batteries; wall charger; charging cable; sim card; sim ejector tool; screen protector; and travel bag). You will need to purchase a data plan (or already have a plan and sim that will work) to use this hotspot and I was able to purchase a new plan using the included sim card at the AT&T website. I was able to use the unit within 10 minutes of completing the purchase.
Performance will vary with location and time of day. I average about 28MB down, and 15MB up on speed tests. The highest I’ve got so far is 62MB down, and 24MB up (fairly early in the morning) and the lowest was 12MB down and 8MB up. I usually have 3 or 4 signal bars. I’ve only had the unit about a week, but haven’t had any issues with it so far.
For those wondering if this hotspot is unlocked, I would say the one I received was. I took the Cricket sim card (with active service) out of my Netgear Unite Pro hotspot and put it in, but it did not work. However, when I took the sim card out of my smart phone which has service thru MVNO Tello on the T-mobile network, it did work for data. I think the reason why the cricket sim didn’t work is because they have their service tied to your device IMEI number (cricket runs on AT&T’s network). I would need to call them and tell them I got a new device and they would switch it over to the Inseego device, (then it would no longer work in the unite pro). The reason I didn’t do this is because the cricket plan I have (i.e., had) is $35/month for 20GB and AT&T had a plan of $25/month for 20GB. The only catch is I had to prepay for 12 months to get that price.
I found this purchase to be an excellent valve overall and would recommend it to anyone who just needs on-the-go Internet access (or backup Internet) and doesn’t need 5G service. I expect 4G LTE to be around for many years to come. I would not recommend it as a primary home internet source unless you’re a relatively light data user (< 100GB per month). Other sources (cable, fiber, wireless home internet plans) will be cheaper because of the high cost associated with data only plans that have large data allotments.

I swapped cards and put the new one to work and WOW!!!! This one gets WAY better signal and produces a much faster internet. No more buffering!
Couldn't be happier. I'm glad I didn't spend more on a Netgear.
