Was going to Munich Germany for a week and wanted to get a sim card that I could just pop in and use. (Apparently e-sims was not supported on my Samsung S10 and didn't want to take a chance). Needed to emphasize that I purchased the 12GB SIM version (NOT e-sim).
I mainly needed data. This card came with 12GB of data and 30mins of calls and 200 texts worldwide (and apparently unlimited local calling with a French number - which I did not try)
It did NOT require any pre-registration or anything like some other cards and they emphasize to swap in the sim card ONLY when you get to Europe (in my case Germany).
When I arrived at the airport in Munich, I turned off the phone, swapped in this Orange Europe SIM and it worked like a charm. Quite seamless. You do get a couple of reminders from the provider to register IF you want to top up the card etc. after 14 days - but you can ignore it if you are not going to do that (which was the case with me).
The network (I only used data) was good and reliable and worked well. Used it for all my data needs (google maps, online forms etc. and whatsapp calls as well) and had no issues at all.
I did not try calling or texting anyone outside of Europe so cannot comment on that.
