We've upgraded the valve of our sleeping pad and make the inflation & deflation much easier than before. Unlike traditional self-inflating sleeping pad with one-way valve which keeps letting air flow back while deflating, our sleeping mat is designed with an advanced 2-way valve. Simply flip the valve to the right side and experience how simple the inflation and deflation could be.
TO INFLATE: Just flip the valve to inflating side and let the sleeping pad self inflate to about 80%. Blow some air in with mouth or pump (not included) to achieve perfect thickness and firmness. The valve let air only in and prevent leaking while inflating.
TO DEFLATE: Flip the valve to the deflating side and the valve will stop air from getting back in order to ensure an easier deflation.

I purchased this as a used item for half the price but I'm quite sure it was never even taken out of the bag which was awesome.
Extremely easy to inflate - flip the valve and let it self inflate for a few minutes then add your own breaths to desired comfort level. It was perfect for me and I'm a big lady, tried it out in my room and it was very comfortable.
I'll be using this for winter camping in a few weeks, can't wait to see how the R value works out! Recommend this to anyone who enjoys comfort and ease of use.
EDIT: Still 5 stars a year later ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ this pad is awesome. I've slept through several blizzards in Northern Ontario with this and it truly is great for winter camping in a tent.
