I just plugged it in and it shows as 490 GB on my laptop and 526GB on my android phone (and not 512 GB as advertised). Also, no cover for tips, which could be easily damaged. I purchased three of these as gifts for a few people, hope I won't regret it.

After a day or two of usage the drive physically started falling apart.

Copying photos/files started off simple and effective but quickly got slower and eventually doing this would also load the drive with tons of folders and random files with strange character names that cannot be deleted. It seemed like the drive was corrupted.

I was able to repair the drive on my computer however, although I still keep this experience in mind when using it and as such do not completely trust it.

UPDATE: seller contacted me & provided me with a very fast full refund for the item with apologies & I didn’t have to return the item - I’m hoping my experience was a one off as I see many others who purchased this product found this useful without any issues. It was easy to use.

I’ve never wasted money on something so bad before but I’m afraid to return it for my money back as it came to me with someone else’s personal photos on it & I don’t want anyone having access to my personal pictures, the port that plugs into my phone pulls completely out of the casing when I unplug it from my phone exposing the micro chip & the videos I did save to it have no sound!!! It came in a sealed package so how it had someone elevens video’s from their trip to china is beyond me! Save your money go with another brand!!!! 😡 NOT happy at all! I wouldn’t even rate it a one star but had to in order to post my review & save someone else their money!
