This is a decent and fast scooter, but my units Bluetooth didn't work so I couldn't connect to the app, I contacted hiboy by email and they were willing to send a new Bluetooth controller and a gift, but I told them that I am returning the scooter. The reason for returning is that the site states this has a 40km range. This is completely a lie. I drove this scooter and recorded my mileage. My weight is approx 200LBS and I drove on REGULAR mode, The battery has 5 bars, each bar does only 4km so total for the scooter is 20km not 40 as stated. The scooter is fast , the back suspension is good, but there's no front suspension so the bumps even on sidewalk feels alot because of solid tires.My ADVICE to anyone buying a scooter, buy either a scooter which has air filled tires PNEUMATIC or get a dual suspension scooter. If you have the budget get a proper $1000 or above scooter which has both features and as for mileage don't believe any companies website or on Amazon, all suppliers lie, whatever range they state is usually half of it in real life

This is one of my best purchases on Amazon. I am excited to let all buyers know this is worth buying. 10/10 rating for everything.
Assembly: It is very easy to assemble. Just unbox and put 4 screws. no addition assembly needed.
Sturdiness: This bike is very sturdy. I loved the way it is built. It looks like quality material is used and excellent finish (design). I am 132-pound, and my wife is 102-pound. We both comfortably ride this scooter together.
Value for money - As compared to other scooters on Amazon this was falling under my budget. Price is very cheap. I am riding this to work every single day since I purchased this scooter. I am saving money on gas. It's fun to ride. Fully charged battery runs around 35 to 42 KM depends on speed and weight you are riding with.
Hiboy App: Its super easy to connect scooter with app. use features like cruise control. lock/unlock, lights on/off and more.
This scooter has two speed mode. goes to 19 miles per hour on red speed mode.
This scooter has an excellent disk break, Bright head light and break light for night rides. 500W battery.
I have ride other scooters from Amazon. My friend brought another company scooter from Amazon and after riding that I will recommend this Hiboy S2 scooter over any other scooter.

Assembling this scooter shouldn't take more than 5 minutes, all it takes is to attach the handlebar using the included screws, done. The manual clearly explains how to operate the scooter and how to change the settings, if desired, this thing goes fast. This scooter has adjustable rear suspension which helps on rough pavement, I find the solid rubber wheels are superior to pneumatic tires, no complaints at all. Because of the small wheel size the scooter should only be operated on solid surfaces, not loose gravel or sand. The foldable handlebar locks onto the rear fender making it easy to carry, I would even load it into the shopping cart to take it with me in the grocery store. Most impressive is the hardwired lighting which makes the scooter highly visible in the dark, the included brake light is a nice touch, too. Over all handling is excellent. Re Gen braking is something you'd normally find on a few select e-bikes but not on a budget scooter, it works very well and helps to improve the range, I don't know by how much but super impressive. With the recent reports of battery fires I paid close attention to the temperature of the battery and the charger but haven't noticed anything unusual. Having said this, do not leave the charger plugged in unattended or overnight and unplug it once the battery is fully charged, you never know.

We have had this scooter for about a month now and it gets used every day for a commuting vehicle for my son heading to work. He only does about 8km per day.

Scooter has lots of power and lots of battery. Ours is the S2 Pro 500W version.

Suspension is a nice added touch. We have the solid wheels as we did not want to have any inflation issues. Head light is good and the 'under platform' led 360 lighting is a welcome surprise and makes the vehicle very visible at night.

Since I have received this product, the disc brake has been defective. I have loosened the brake to try to make the sound of the brake scraping stop, but it hasn't. It continues months after. When going over cracked roads or bumps, you can really feel it. It does not feel like there is any suspension system. It's ok for flat commute but if you have any hills, then it immediately slows down.

3rd update: 14 months after purchase. I had an accident with this scooter and the throttle broke. I contacted the manufacturer to see if I could get a replacement and they offered to send me both the throttle and the broke. Phone holder, free of charge. Great customer service!
2nd update 4 months after purchase: I have to revise my review of this company once again. They are TOP in customer satisfaction, response, problem solving and inquiries. The scooter rides great, looks great and has a long battery life. Maybe in future they will reconsider the closure hook and use a better design there. They seem to be really focussed on their product and their customers so I believe they will continue improving over time.

UPDATE: The company "HiBoy" has been very open and eager to resolve our issues (below) and very supportive. For that reason I am happy to change my overall rating to 4 Stars (****) increased from 3.

This is a lovely scooter. Stylish, easy to use, solid tires (no flats!), disk brake, great lights, fast.

However there are two extremely important design drawbacks: UPDATE: Point 1 below is more of a dumb design but Point 2 below remains an important drawback.

1. The body of the scooter does not have any place where a lock can be passed through to securely lock the scooter outside if necessary.

UPDATE: After some research apparently it is possible to lock the scooter around the body just behind the front wheel (on the angled part). Provided that the lock is tight enough to the body that the scooter body or stem/headset can't be passed through the lock and removed, it is pretty secure. We have not tried this yet.

and….relating to the above and to the idea that there is no way to lock it up outside….

2. When we fold the scooter and clip the top to the rear fender, the “clip” in fact is an open hook which catches a spring action loop built into the rear fender. As long as you keep tension on that hook (ie by holding the scooter from that portion), the loop stays in the hook. As soon as the stem of the scooter relaxes toward the body, the hook falls out of the loop and the scooter opens up (“flops” open).

Given that the scooter is about 30lbs, it is reasonable that a normal person would occasionally “rest” the folded scooter while carrying it. But if s/he does, the scooter will awkwardly fall open and potentially cause damage or physical injury.

So where we ourselves really wanted to have a scooter that folded up for ease of transportation, it’s not well designed for that at all.

I anticipate our finding another way of securing the fold, perhaps by installing a rock-climbing clip somehow, so that the stem can be held securely attached to the body when folded. UPDATE: We did find a way to secure the fold. Our "solution" is not very functional and it's ugly as well. We are going to try locking as updated in Point 1 above, which will hopefully solve the problem.

I got started on the Hiboy Titan first and let me tell you... if you are new to scooters, you would want to start with THIS one!!!
Besides, it's cheaper, and still FAST :D

Unboxing-wise, this was by far the best, having been shipped much more securely than I have seen.
On top of that, there is no wasted space and everything was super simple to put together and mess free!

This scooter is super light compared to the rest of the scooter I have seen with similar size and battery!!!
You can stop on a dime going max speed, IF you follow proper weight management!

This scooter is FRONT WHEEL DRIVEN.
Having a great suspension mechanism in the rear along with its unique wheels, it handles quite nicely!!!
Especially for beginners in my opinion!!!
Not to forget the handling that comes with front wheel driven scooters, ergonomics, and again the slick wheels, help it grip around the corner like no others WHILE smoothening out any bumps.

The stem's locking mechanism is by far the most convenient and secure that I have seen.
(Just be sure to not pinch your finger in between)

The neck locking mechanism is just as secure and only requires a couple of hex bolts.
Haven't had to re-tighten them since! Especially since they came with thread locked!!!

The app is very much functional unlike other scooters, and offers a variety of tools, my favorite being the self lock feature!
With it, the scooter displays a lock on the dashboard while not letting the scooter move forward or backwards, using the electronic brakes!
On top of that, it beeps if it gets moved!!!
Very Neat!!! :D

As a cherry on top, it comes with a little bell ring, which has been quite helpful since I don't have to yell through my helmet.

The operation button is quite simple too!
Just one button!!!
One click to turn on
(clicking once after turning on will turn the Front, Side, and Rear LEDs on/off.)
Two clicks to change speed modes
Three clicks for cruise control
And lastly hold it down when stopped to power off.

Battery life and operation has been smooth as well.
I haven't had a need to drain the entire battery yet since it gets me everywhere I need to go.
But I'm sure depending on the weight of the rider, rider average speed, if LEDs are on/off, if Bluetooth is on/off, etc., you can get more than 20 miles out of it!
Battery charging time also takes ~7 hours which is a bit faster than my old Hiboy Titan (~9 hours).
Lastly, the battery meter does a pretty good job of accurately displaying the power you have left, despite the battery power-output typically being more like a curve.

Read the manual and follow proper battery care and it will last you a while!!!

With it, the scooter displays a lock on the dashboard while not letting the scooter move forward or backwards, using the electronic brakes!
On top of that, it beeps if it gets moved!!!
Very Neat!!! :D

As a cherry on top, it comes with a little bell ring, which has been quite helpful since I don't have to yell through my helmet.

The operation button is quite simple too!
Just one button!!!
One click to turn on
(clicking once after turning on will turn the Front, Side, and Rear LEDs on/off.)
Two clicks to change speed modes
Three clicks for cruise control
And lastly hold it down when stopped to power off.

Battery life and operation has been smooth as well.
I haven't had a need to drain the entire battery yet since it gets me everywhere I need to go.
But I'm sure depending on the weight of the rider, rider average speed, if LEDs are on/off, if Bluetooth is on/off, etc., you can get more than 20 miles out of it!
Battery charging time also takes ~7 hours which is a bit faster than my old Hiboy Titan (~9 hours).
Lastly, the battery meter does a pretty good job of accurately displaying the power you have left, despite the battery power-output typically being more like a curve.

Read the manual and follow proper battery care and it will last you a while!!!

Zu allererst zur Lieferung, schneller als die Feuerwehr! Bestellt, zwei Tage später schon da. Und erst am vierten Tag wurde das Geld abgebucht.
Auch kein Karton beschädigt!
Dann ging es ans auspacken, solide schön mit Styropor Formschalen im Karton verpackt.
Das Teil rausgehoben, Ständer ausgeklappt, Lenker mit vier versenkten Imbus Wurmschrauben montiert. App installiert, Grundeinstellung mit Losungswort vorgenommen, das alles in 15 Minuten. Nach 20 min. war ich draußen und ab geht die Post. Solide verarbeitet, top Qualität zu einem Hammer Preis!
Läuft wie eine Rakete. Geschwindigkeit ist der Hammer, ganze 31 km/h.
Eine mechanische und eine elektronische Bremse, die elektronische kann man auch per App einstellen, wie schnell und kraftvoll sie zu packen soll. Dadurch entsteht wiederum Energy die zusätzlich den Akku lädt.
Der Hammer ist auch die Beleuchtung, vorne tolle LED die perfekt und weit ausleuchtet. Hinten mit Rücklicht und Bremslicht. Auch die seitlichen Flanken sind rot beleuchtet. Vollgummi Bereifung spricht für sich. Etwas härter als Luftreifen, dafür kein herum murksen beim Luftpumpen.
Trittbrett ausreichend breit genug.
Beschleunigung lässt sich auch per App einstellen.
Reichweite kann ich noch nichts sagen.
Spritzwassergeschützt.
Pfützen sollte man aber besser meiden.
Ganz Wasser resistent ist keines von den Dingern. Auch bei meinen E-Bikes muss ich aufpassen.
Alles in allem mehr als top! Vergebe 10 Sterne, für eine wirklich gelungene Performance.
Kauft euch dieses Teil einfach, ich verspreche nicht zuviel.
Übrigens die App zum herunterladen ist Deppen sicher zu bedienen.

Llevo desde mayo con el patín, y estoy encantado. Tiene potencia más que de sobra para moverte sin problemas, subiendo cuestas o lo que sea. Es un sistema robusto y bien construido, con un sistema de plegado que no se te va a partir (como le pasaba al de mi xiaomi anterior), que es sencillo de plegar y muy resistente.
Las ruedas sólidas de 10" van muy bien; son sólidas, sí, pierdes algo de comodidad en la conducción, pero la amortiguación trasera ayuda mucho. Lo mejor es que te olvidas para siempre de arreglar pinchazos, y eso es un plus a tener en cuenta. Si te ha tocado alguna vez arreglar un pinchazo en un patín ya sabrás que sudas tinta para hacerlo, y además se pinchan fácilmente. Con ruedas sólidas (pero honeycomb como las de este patín) te olvidas de todo. Eso sí, se me ha desgastado el dibujo de la delantera bastante y en algún momento tendré que cambiarla. En soporte por email me han dicho que no venden solo el neumático, sino la rueda entera con el motor, pero a un precio razonable de unos 65 €. Lo pillaré seguramente, así tendré además un motor nuevo de repuesto y una rueda nueva.
Se me paró el patín tras pillar un buen bache, contacté con soporte por email y han respondido de diez: muy rápido --a pesar de estar en China-- y eficaz, mandando vídeos, haciendo preguntas para identificar el problema (que al final era la sirga del acelerador), y al saberlo, ¡me han mandado todo el manillar completo gratis para cambiarlo! Arreglado en 10 minutos y funcionando otra vez perfectamente. Mi experiencia con el servicio técnico de soporte es inmejorable, desde luego. Responden al email en el día habitualmente.
La capacidad de aceleración es muy buena (especialmente en modo sport) y tener dos frenos, uno regenerativo en la rueda delantera y uno de disco en la trasera, es un plus de seguridad para frenar, aparte de recuperar algo de batería, imagino. Habitualmente con usar el regenerativo que actúa sobre el motor es suficiente: el de disco lo uso solo para frenadas casi "de emergencia".
Las luces bajo el patín se ven mucho por la noche, la de atrás parpadea además al frenar. La delantera alumbra, pero si sales de noche, ponte una luz delantera adicional de alta potencia.
La posición de conducción es cómoda, y sientes un patín sólido y que responde.
Para mí, y considerando el precio, el S2 Pro es una elección perfecta.
