Based on the insight into the needs of parents caring for their children, we have made some improvements on HB40:

Time and temperature long display: The time and temperature will always be displayed on the screen in video mode, so that you can keep track of them without the need to operate the buttons specifically.

Fit your cell phone use habit: The special vertical screen design makes it very convenient for you to operate it with one or two hands, similar to the operation of a cell phone.

What makes the HB40 baby monitor different from other products?

The main differences between our products are: firstly, large font display of temperature and time; secondly, long standby time; and thirdly, the monitor is designed like a mobile phone for easy operation and use.

Can the monitor always display the temperature,time,and date?

Yes,it is different from other similar products in that it can display not only temperature but also date and time,and the displayed font is large enough.

Can I turn off the video on the monitor and just listen to the audio?

Yes, you can set the VOX mode to activate the screen only when the device detects certain sounds.

How can I keep the monitor screen on for an extended period?

Simply disable the "VOX" mode to maintain a bright screen.

Can cameras be used unplugged?

The camera can only operate when plugged in,while the monitor can be powered by both batteries and plugged in.

Warm Tips:

1.We provide a full year of service on our products from the date of purchase. For any product issues or support questions, please don't hesitate to contact our after-sales service via email(You can find our after-sales contact information in the user manual).

2.If you encounter any issues with the baby monitor or camera, you can prioritize resetting the monitor (on the back of the monitor - RESET).

3.The maximum range for monitor and camera connection is 1000 ft (300 m) in open areas. Obstacles like walls, doors, and televisions may interfere with the connection. If the device disconnects, simply plug it back in.

4.Both cameras and monitors come with a specialized charging cable. The camera can only operate when plugged in, while the monitor can be powered by both batteries and plugged in.

5.Raise the antenna of the camera and monitor to get a better signal.

6.When the camera is used continuously (extended use), the temperature of the camera itself will increase and the temperature on the monitor will not change.

7.To avoid beeping or buzzing, keep the camera and monitor at a distance of 5-7 feet.

We had initially bought this one cause it was fast shipping and needed one asap because ours broke on family vacation. It did the job then the screen had stopped working after only a couple weeks so I had emailed the company and they were amazing. Willing to replace it if they couldn’t resolve the problem but they did. What I hadn’t seen is the little reset button on the inside of the stand, did that and was as good as new. Love how light weight the monitor is and battery lasts unplugged all day/ night. Good customer service is key with baby items, highly recommend!

The charges were just shoved into the top loosely and the bags that they were supposed to be in we just stuffed into the bottom of the box. Upon further inspection, we noticed scratches and dirt on both the monitor and the camera. This is extremely disappointing and unethical selling and advertising a new product, paying full price for it, only to receive a very obviously used product. Save your money and buy another brand.

Works great. The picture quality is perfect for my use, night and day vision is pretty clear and I have this set up 10 feet from the bed. The zoom function works well also. Love that this does not require Wi-Fi so it will be perfect for camping. The battery life blew me away, its about 30 hours before it is dead. Super loud volume, and I love that I can turn off the screen with one click on the power button and still hear what is happening. It does not have a find parent unit function so just make sure you know where you put it down if you travel around the house with it. Fantastic product for the price.

I went through two V-tech monitors before this one. The first one kept losing its connection and after one month just lost it entirely. The second one had one out of two cameras that stopped working after one day, and also loses its connection every once in a while. We finally bought this one a few months ago and never had a problem since. I like that it doesn't have wi-fi for privacy and that is has the date and time on the monitor.

We bought the Arenti camera for around 200$. It worked ok then around 4 months the battery completely died. Couldn’t even hold a charge or stay plugged in. The night vision also stopped working. They sent a new one but that one was frozen all the time. I went on the hunt for a monitor without all the bells and whistles - just want something reliable that I can see and hear baby. Opened this today and I can already tell it’s much simpler and has less lag. We will see how it does but so far it’s much better than a 200$ camera!

UPDATE - love this - don’t waste your money on a more expensive camera that doesn’t work! We love it! Does what it needs to with good range and sound. Perfect!

My oldest is 6 and we’ve had infant optixs all along. We have 3 cameras. One has audio that quit working and we’ve gone through 3 monitors!!! When this 3rd one broke, I refused to replace it with $$$ since the youngest is almost 3 now. I got Hello Baby for literally a quarter of the price and it’s SO MUCH BETTER!!! We have thick concrete walls and the kids rooms are far from ours. The signal works perfectly whereas the other used to need to be placed outside our door. I like the color. The picture is better. Very intuitive to use and, best feature if you have young kids, the antenna is stationary and can’t get ripped off!! Great quality and wonderful price. So happy. I would never spend all the money on the other brands if I tried this first.

La calidad de imagen está ok, la señal es muy buena para mis necesidades y la visión nocturna es mejor de lo que esperaba. Product is good value and is replacing an older Hello Baby model we have had for 6 years and was going strong until our 2 year old broke the monitor. New model looks solid and seems to have been an improvement. Though it’s a shame it’s not backwards compatible with the old model camera.

Problem is they sent us a version with American plugs and we’re in Australia. Have resolved with Amazon customer service for a partial refund

Exactly what I was looking for.
Many functionalities. I used it while traveling and it worked pretty well. Good screen, nice features to turn on/off the volume, being able to speak. Night view works no problem. Good price too. Customer support answered questions fast.

Only one thing is inconvenient: the charging cables are not very common. If you loose them you won’t be able to find replacement easily. Would suggest the company to change for usb-c or micro usb which are much more common and easy to pack when travelling. Especially for the monitor which need to be charged only once in a while (the camera needs to be plugged in all the time).

I bought this "cheap" baby monitor for my third child when our much more expensive video monitor broke down (none seem to last very long). I figured he was already two, I really only needed it to hear him overnight (he rarely gets up) and see if he's trying to climb out of his crib. I've had 3 other quite expensive video monitors for my children (now ages 9, 5, and 2) and I cannot believe I wasted money on any of them now that I have this one!! This is an excellent monitor: the camera movement is generous, the picture is clear whether it's daytime/night-vision, the zoom works well, and the battery life is exceptional- far surpassing my others' battery life! I haven't tested the range much, though it works from my basement office, all the way up to his bedroom. It also has room temperature and microphone features. I suppose the only con is that when I talk into the microphone to my kids, my older ones have to put the device up to their ear to hear me, though on my end I can hear them loud & clear with plenty of volume adjustability. We don't need this feature much, so perhaps that's adjustable too, but I haven't tried. I highly recommend this- don't waste your money on the more expensive ones, they aren't worth it.
