This is the second product I’ve purchased from HelloBaby. We really like the camera and monitor, so ordered a second camera.
The camera we received was visibly damaged — can hear loose pieces inside, pieces don’t fit properly together, and the top is damaged from previous buyer trying to fix/fit pieces together I presume. This indicates to me that this product was returned and resold without being checked and sold full price.
Upon reaching out to HelloBaby, a new camera was sent promptly and we were not expected to return the damaged camera. While I wish we received a new, working camera initially considering we paid full price for a NEW product, I really appreciate their excellent customer service and not having to go through the hassle of mailing the damaged camera back.
I would recommend this monitor and camera to parents for sure. If there are issues, customer service will take care of you.
UPDATE 07/15/2024: one ridiculous feature I learned today is that if there is a power outage during a storm, the camera turns back on making a loud singing noise. So, the power went out three times in the last hour - my 8 week old has woken each time, so now I have to unplug it and not use. Silly design! Have the music sound on the screen, or not at all.
