I'm not going to lie, I was interested in this because of that scene of Cassie in Euphoria getting ready for school at 4 am. I've loved heatless hairstyles and curling methods for years because I try to prioritize sleep and cutting down getting ready time, so this was exciting. The packaging had a weird typo or spacing issue which doesn't really matter, but was kinda funny.
The actual curler is firm, sort of like a mini sausage pillow. I was a bit surprised because the pictures say it's made out of rubber, but it's definitely not; it's just a firmly stuffed roller. I feel like the firmness helps form the curls well, but it's probably best to be a back sleeper to do this. I'm a side sleeper and it can get a bit uncomfortable to try and sleep on your side. The curler is pretty long so I feel like it can accommodate a good amount of hair lengths.
Putting in the curler takes some time to get used to and would be a lot easier if it came with a clip; if you have a claw clip, I'd recommending using it to hold the top of the rod in place to make things way easier. I'd also highly recommend spraying your hair with some type of product before putting it in the curler and making sure you wrap it decently tight; practice makes perfect. When I shake out my hair in the morning, the curls are nice and shiny (not always sleek because of my hair type). It feels very Instagram blowout worthy without doing much. I'm happy with it and can't wait to use it more.
