If you have been seeing this movie on either VHS or DVD, this is the best format of all time for you to view. The sound is way better when the volume is loud. The image quality is excellent for this movie and makes you feel you are actually right there seeing the whole thing unfold. If you don't already own Halloween 4 on blu ray this is the release to get. It's not as complete as it could be however because, for some reason, it doesn't include the Alan B. McElroy commentary that was on the Divimax DVD from 2006. So if you already own that release, keep it for the screenwriter's commentary.

It wasn't late (2), neither of it's discs were loose (1 and 2 each had one), slip had no damage to it at all (3 and 5)

La película en sí no es tan buena como las predecesoras de Michael Myers, pero esta presentación hace el mejor trabajo en la imagen y sonido, el problema es que tiene subtítulos más que en inglés (como toda distribución de Scream factory!). Lo que si, es que contiene las presentaciones especiales que fueron agregadas a la colección definitiva del 2014, de manera que puedes escuchar los audio comentarios de las actrices principales y un documental de casi una hora sobre la realización de la película. La presentación es muy vistosa, con una caja rígida como slipcover y una caratula de doble vista en la caja color negro que contiene los dos discos. Si eres coleccionista sí vale la pena, dado el costo y la existencia de presentaciones más económicas.

The quality of the 4k is very good. I was disappointed that according to Shout Factory since 2023 you no longer get the rigid sleeve. Instead you get a standard cardboard sleeve. Amazon should change the picture they use when advertising this item. One star deducted for that.

Transfer 4K eccellente e mix audio in Dolby Atmos per un'edizione che non ha alcun punto debole: impossibile sperare di vedere il film meglio di così, almeno per quella che è la tecnologia attuale.
Ovviamente il disco 1080p non è visibile sui lettori europei, in quanto Region A, ma quello in UHD non ha vincoli territoriali.
Occorre una buona comprensione dell'inglese, perché l'edizione americana evidentemente non prevede né i sottotitoli né tantomeno il doppiaggio italiano: sono disponibili i sottotitoli per non udenti in inglese per il film, mentre gli audiocommentary non sono sottotitolati affatto. Se la lingua non è un handicap, l'acquisto è consigliatissimo.

I’m am a huge fan of the Halloween franchise and I have grown up with these movies. I was 14 when the original came out at the cinema and the atmosphere was intense. I have never seen a horror movie since where the audience were screaming at the screen and I remember being absolutely terrified. This started my love for all things horror. Halloween 4 over the years has become my favourite in the franchise, with well written characters and a finale that if you haven’t seen it will just shock you. It was a shame that the ending was not carried through to the next two films. Imagine a female Myers on the rampage. The picture and sound are perfect. It is better than the version I remember seeing in the cinema. I watch this one more than the original, which is a very rare practice when it comes to cult movies. Let’s hope that a reboot of the franchise picks up from the ending of this film and we see Danielle Harris return to fulfill a rather promising destiny.
