If you wanna run 3s batteries just upgraded your spur and pinion gear to 16401 y or g. And your differentials 16420y front and back
Out of box on 2s is still fast and fun.
When you notice the gears sound abit noticeable just open the back end use a qtip clean and add some black or Lithium grease, after 2 dozen runs. And itll keep it nice. Wheelie bar and front bumpers are strong but keep screws tight on wheelie bar maybe some thread lock. And out of bux id crazy glue around the light cover. Its clipped in and over time will pop out with lots of bumping. Just giving precautions to keep you happy and playin with if more. Tighten your back shocks half and front a quarter and center your trim on controller and if needed adjust your steering bars to your liking for balance and stability.
man this truck is fun and fast!!!

**UPDATE - Final review **
I'm not an RC hobbyist but I really like to have great time with my kids play outside with RC cars.

This is a perfect RC Truck for begginers or someone who would like to spend some time outside bashing around. If you're an "hobbyist" you will prefer to spend a little bit more money on a more expensive and common brand for many reasons.

This Truck is really awesome and really fast for brushless motor on a 2 S battery and IT'S A REAL BANG FOR THE BUCKS. I understand the "Hype" on youtube for this model and his big brother, the Hyper go H14BM.

I have been riding and bashing my truck for almost a month now and I still enjoy it but...

1- The electronics have to be improve!
IPX5 is far from being enought. IPX67 would be perfect! A lot of dirt,snow or water get
under the shell and will damage the ESC, the receiver or the servo.
If you think to use your air compressor to clean it after an intense bashing session... BAD IDEA ! the
pressured will surely remove all the dirt, snow and etc. but the water.... it will infiltrate the electronics
and damaged them.

2- The parts availability !
If you break something like a Steering Blocks & Caster Blocks or Rear Hub Carrier ... Good luck !
MJX doesn't seems to have a huge spare parts inventory and since it is not a known brand or what I
would qualified as a "hobbyist" brand, you have to rely on third party manufacturers from AliExpress,
Temu, Banggood. Not to mention the quality of those "after market" parts often falls in "you get what
you paid for"

3- Parts compatibility
As mentionned before, MJX is not a known brand or what I would qualified as a "hobbyist" brand and
their RC cars are often a replica of bigger brand. But replica doesn't means that they uses or respect
the common conception or build standard. That complicate things when you want to "Upgrade" parts
like wheels, servo, ESC, etc. Even the scaling is not "standard" so it is hard to figure out what's
upgradable over time.

So, I gave a 4 stars for my overall experience because as I mentionned before, this is a perfect RC Truck for begginers or someone who would like to spend some time outside bashing around, it's really fast for brushless motor on a 2 S battery and IT'S A REAL BANG FOR THE BUCKS.

***UPDATE***
- After speaking with the mjx hyper go support (which is excellent by the way) we figured out that my ESC was the issue. They offered my to send me a new one but I had to wait a couple days.
So I decided to send it back and I bought a new one!

I bought this RC car on January 12 because I've seen A LOT of good reviews on many YouTube channels and on amazon.
This car is really awesome and really fast for brushless motor on a 2 S battery and IT'S A REAL BANG FOR THE BUCKS.
But as for many other cheap products ... come cheap parts !
I'm in Canada and our winter is exceptionally warm and we do not have a lot of snow. So I thought if this RC basher can ride in mud, why it wouldn't run on snow ? When I mean snow, I don't mean in my backyard in inches of snow, I mean in the street where the "snow" has been hard packed by the cars and the snowplow.

The first rides were awesome and after each rides I cleaned the snow that had accumulated under the shell with my compressor in the shed - just to make sure that the snow doesn't melt and damage the electronics since they are only IPX5 (splash-proof)so far ... so good !

but then, here comes troubles.... lately while enjoy this RC car, it began to unresponsive:
- lights and steering works flawlessly
- No throttle
First I thought that could be the battery because the weather was around -15°, so I cleaned the truck with my compressor, charge and balance the battery and I was good to go.

Until yesterday evening, after a 15 minutes, I lost the throttle and the ESC light blinking slowly - mean it is in low-voltage mode. Even this morning it stills not working

I contact Hyper go (email) and I'm still waiting for an answer - hope for the best - updates to comes

So over the years I have owned quite a few rc vehicles some great some not so good , of the great ones 1 was a twin motor Lamborghini which was crazy fast but brittle and a 4x4 buggy style which was also crazy fast but again brittle and not many available parts for fixing braking parts. As someone else stated I don’t write a lot of reviews but when something is as good as this truck is I make sure that I say something, I believe when someone gets things this right they deserve to get kudos for a job well done 👍.
I have been tracking this vehicle for a while now reading reviews looking at the website checking on spare parts and doing comparison looking to see if there was anything better . About 3 weeks ago I decided that I would be getting this one it just made sense it’s the best bang for your buck that you can get out there right now . I went to a hobby shop to also do comparisons and the best they had was over $100.00 more and didn’t have the specs that this one has , I was talking to the guy at the shop and when I told him about this one he laughed and said good luck finding parts , he couldn’t have been more wrong.
I have been buying spare parts and aftermarket parts for a few weeks before I bought this vehicle and on Saturday I logged onto Amazon to look around and I noticed this vehicle was on a ( just guessing) pop up sale for 15% off so I jumped at it , I had it in my hands within 24 hours and couldn’t be more happier. This thing has serious speed and I haven’t even tried it at 100% yet and also I haven’t put in the upgraded battery yet .

You want something fast and fun this is the vehicle you want , tons of spare parts and aftermarket parts and in my words it’s the best bang for your buck out there 👍👍

After our Haiboxing stopped working on its 2nd battery (one wheel locked up), we got this thing for our 4 year old. Its definitely too much car for a 4 year old, but he drives it all the time and is getting quite good at it. That said, it's so powerful especially on the fast mode and has so much torque that its very easy to spin out or lose control. It's terrible on gravel because it just spins and kicks rocks non stop, you need good concrete and preferably a large wide open space like a parking lot.

Our son has crashed this car a lot at very high rates of speed and its ridiculously resilient. When we first got it I thought it would be toast within a few batteries due to all the crashing our son was doing but we've probably run about 50 cycles now and she keeps kicking. By far the best RC car on amazon in the price range, but I wouldn't take it as a first choice for a 4 year old it's too powerful.
