Perfect Compatibility, Longer Runtime
The battery pack comes with a USB charging adapter, replacement frame lock, interface converter adapter (for different model cars) & a user guide.The stock batteries that comes with the car are 2S 2000mAh batteries, so the increased size will not provide more speed, but will provide approx. 50% more runtime.It measures approx. 9.2cm x 3.4cm x 2.2cm and weighs 146g.These batteries are slightly longer than the stock and just fits inside the battery compartment.I have a few different HyperGo RC cars and this battery is a perfect fit for all, but depending on the model, it may require the installation of the .These don’t have a hard plastic body like the stock batteries, just clear heat shrink tubing. A hard plastic shell would have been appreciated for more durability.I did have one issue which was the wiring that comes out of the battery. It seems the cable gets in the way of the cars underframe. If the cable was just a few millimeters higher or in a different location it would make the battery fit better without forcing it into place.Overall, the Hyper Go Angry Snail 2S 3000mAh battery was a perfect fit for my H16 series RC cars. The larger capacity will provide increased runtime without too much weight/size. A reconfig of the cable location would have made the battery fit properly with less effort.

No matter though. I put everything back together, put in a bit of a shim to hold the new 3000mAh battery in place and strapped it in! I was a bit worried that the larger size might interfere with the steering, but I've had no issues.
To be honest, the 2000mAh batteries were enough of a capacity for me. And having two of them with how easy they are to swap is plenty. However, this 3000mAh battery just allows me to not travel with a spare if I know I'm only going to be out and about for like 30 mins.
I haven't fully drained it yet, but it has outlasted my 2000mAh battery for sure. So the battery outlasts me haha.
I like that the kit is complete with the parts, simple but clear instructions (if you have the right model) and a new charger. There was also a conversion plug in the kit that I didn't need. I actually ended up using the adapter as the shim to hold up the battery.
The only thing I'm unsure of is how much the heavier battery upsets the balance of the car. However I usually run the car in dirt or gravel and I haven't noticed it flipping over any more than it usually does.
So far so good with this battery. Works great.

When I first opened the box and read the instructions. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong as I couldn't figure out where to put the new latch that the kit comes with. After watching a couple YouTube videos, I realized that the battery compartment and velcro that my car has, isn't compatible for this kit.Reviewed in Canada on September 13, 2023
