It came in a big box that would probably fit three of four of the same product, but just a few pieces of paper to stuff the empty space of the box. This probably cause the product to bounce a lot while transporting which caused damage to it (a piece of structure from inside the body broken, see picture).Pros:- Good size for my 8 y.o. son.- Good sound quality even with internal parts broken- It came with strings pre-mounted, and loose (as expected)- The strings seem brand new (getting out of tune right after tuning for the first time)- Good value for the priceCons:- Bad packagingI'm giving 2 starts because of the frustration. My kid was anxiously waiting for the guitar. When it arrived, he loved it, but now we have to return and he is very upset with it.

Super happy with my purchase! Everyone who returned their guitar or whined about it not staying in tune wasted their own time. Of course nylon strings need to be stretched out a bit right off the bat and 30 seconds of googling "new guitar won't stay in tune" would have told then that. It's just a few days into fiddling around with it and now when I pick it up the strings barely need retuning. They do buzz a bit so I may swap them out sooner rather than later.

The tone is nice and rich and the price is amazing. The colour is super saturated and the finish is very high gloss so in my opinion it looks and little cheaper in person than it does on the screen but still very nice. The frets seem like they are VERY widely spaced which I hear is common for beginner guitars but my fingers just don't spread that wide lol. Love the 3/4 size of the body too. I'm super happy with my purchase.

I bought the full-size last summer, and it's been great.
It's a very light, but well put together guitar.

Since it's a Classical (aka Nylon stringed acoustic), it's easy to play for beginners. But that also means that for the first week or two after putting on new strings they stretch & need retuning *a lot*. But after a couple weeks, it stays in tune great. I've left mine unplayed for weeks (I prefer steel strings to nylon), and picked it up in perfect tune.

The strings do slip a bit, but it's been bearable. The tuning pegs feel a bit cheap, and I paid more for it (I think about $200cad) than it costs now (~$90cad). I bought a steel string acoustic of the same make, for less money, with nice steel pegs. So I expected more.

But overall, it's nice. The sound's good, there's not a lot of fret buzz after you get used to the guitar. And, since it's a classical, it's easy to learn barr chords. Plus, it looks nice.

I'd like to say that if you're a beginner and have the willpower I'd personally reccomend starting on a steel-stringed acoustic, not a classical. Your fingertips will hurt like hell for a while, but it's well worth it. You learn the feel, you build up the calluses, and if you can play a steel-string you can play basically any guitar.
There's a saying: If you can play an acoustic, you can play an electric.

This guitar is a very good investment and worth it the price. Just a comment for those who complaints about the strings not to stay tuned, since I play instrument myself, I know how to get it resolved.
We have two types of string musical instruments:
1. with metallic strings : these do not require much effort and stay tune most of the times
2. with Nylon strings (like this guitar) : please note that nylon strings will take a week or two to stay tune after each time you tune them. Even if you buy a nylon-based string instrument for thousands of dollars, you still have to spend a week to get it tuned in the room temperature. That's the nature of the instrument and not a point of weakness.
I totally recommend this guitar for kids.

Although I understand nylon strings need to be stretched - my little cousin does not. He had the guitar for a good week before getting absolutely fed up with it. His parents would tell me that he’d be lucky to play one song before the guitar would be completely out of tune again, and then have to get an adult to help him.
They returned the guitar to me and I had some time to play with it a bit - it couldn’t be all that bad, right?
For starters, it felt like a feather. Insanely light, which seemed weird, but whatever; it’s a little guitar. I tuned it and fiddled around with some tunes - only to find my fingers indented with black... yuck. Paint from the bridge? It was like I’d just ran my fingers over charcoal. Whatever was used to colour the bridge, it was rubbing off.
So sadly, I decided to just return it and not try to “fix” it. Maybe I could have restrung it for my cousin with copper strings, but the kid just wanted something easier on his fingers as a newbie. Although, never in my life have I owned a nylon-strung guitar that needed to be re-tuned as much as the one did, holy heck.
Now I don’t want to totally bash this poor little guitar, because at its price point it might still be a good deal (it was also well packaged). With a little bit of patience and some dutiful cleaning, you might want it anyway. I mean it LOOKS very nice, even though it feels extremely cheap. Apart from the aesthetics, I think it would still suffice as a beginner’s guitar (maybe you would want to replace the strings eventually tho). Its got a cute little carrying case, buuuut the guitar is also pretty quiet for what it is; definitely not for your kid’s talent show/concert... maybe just for if they’re interested and wanna play around.
And I emphasize, this is only for KIDS. I’m a 5’5 female and it’s absolutely too tiny for me, which added to the reason why I didn’t just keep it for myself (and restring it).
Anyway, there ends the ramblings of a semi-annoyed lady. Good luck on your decision, hope this helped. I’ll have to get the kid a new Christmas present.
