Good bang for the buck as it is difficult to buy a fire proof safe for a decent price that won't get delivered with a fireproof bag. When anchored to the floor, the bottom of the safe flexed a little and may give the impression that it will give, so due to installing mine in a corner of a closet I braced the top back and and top side by mounting a couple of braces screwed to the wall studs and pressing down on the safe, and no more movement.

First things first, the craftsmanship and materials of this safe box are decent. It boasts a vintage design that adds a touch of nostalgia, and operating it is a breeze. The included features are practical and straightforward. The size is just right, making it easy to install in a secure and inconspicuous spot. Now, let's talk about storage. The internal space is a bit on the smaller side; it can comfortably accommodate A4-sized documents at most. The thickness of the door panel takes up some of the internal space, making it a tad tricky to close the door when storing larger files. It tends to squeeze them a bit. When it comes to security, it's a mixed bag. The safe box can be opened with a key as a backup in case the electronic lock runs out of battery juice. However, the lock itself is pretty basic, and someone with lock-picking skills could easily crack it. Moreover, the box seems susceptible to brute force attacks. There's a noticeable gap between the body and the door panel, making it seem vulnerable to being pried open or smashed.
In conclusion, while it's a suitable choice for storing everyday items or documents you don't frequently need, I wouldn't trust it with highly valuable belongings. It's a bit like a reliable friend for your everyday stuff, but not the fortress you'd want for your most prized possessions.

This is a heavy duty small size safe. It's got good weight, and comes with concrete mounting screws to help securely mount this thing to concrete floor for extra security. It's also fire resistant to 1400F for 30 minutes, which is rated for a typical house fire scenario.

At 1 cubic feet, it's interior is somewhat small, and won't fit your standard 8.5x11 documents.

The electronic lock pad is easy to set. However, unscrewing the lock to access the key hole behind it is a bit of a pain, and don't always unlatch smoothly. The electronic lock pad seems to be made of plastic, so I'm just afraid I'll break it one of these days.

Note: I had a little difficulty with the key and didn't think it was working at first. The key does not turn very far, and it doesn't turn any latch, so it's not obvious that it's doing anything. You need to hold the key in the farthest position while turning the handle, otherwise it will spring back and you won't be able to operate the handle to open the safe. The safe handle turns very easily.

It's a really solid safe and will probably protect the contents well in a fire, and prevent a thief from getting to the contents if the safe is bolted down. If it's not bolted down they would likely just grab the whole thing and take it. There are two holes inside on the floor of the safe with covers where bolts can be inserted. Two large molly bolts are supplied, but depending on the surface where it's bolted down, you may want to get a couple of large threaded bolts.

The safe can be open with either a customizable digital combination, or with a key. The key is important in case the electronics fail for some reason. Sometimes they just fail, but a fire would also likely destroy the electronics, so the key is important to have as a backup. For everyday use, the digital keypad is more convenient. You can set a combination from 3-8 numbers long.

There is an shelf inside that can be adjusted to any height that you like, or you can leave it out if you don't need it. One of the screws had come out on the side rails that hold up the shelf which I had to screw back in, but it's working ok now.

This safe has great weight to it. It is not a cheap. The set up was extremely easy to switch it to what we want instead of the settings that it comes with. The battery was included which is a huge when in my book! I was able to set it all up in just a few minutes, and now we have it to protect our pictures and memories no matter the weather that comes!

I was in need of a safe for the few items of jewelry and important papers I keep at my house, so this one was a delightfully unexpected find for me. It was very easy to get operational and the right size - not too big and not too small. It's sturdy but not to heavy for one person to move, and I love that there is hardware included so that it can permanently affixed if I want to. And although I hope I never have to test it, the safe is fire-rated to 1400 degrees, which is a definite plus. It was easy to install and is easy to use, plus there's plenty of interior safe - exactly what I need.

So far this safe has worked great but i wont really know how it holds up until someone tries to get into it or my house catches on fire, two things im not going to expedite. Feels really solid and is nice and thick. Heavy but not heavy enough that someone wouldn’t be able to run away with it in their arms. Only gripes are that the door comes off and it was a PIA trying to get it back on and that the handle goes to the right more than it needs to so it feels like its stripped a bit on whatever gear its on.
