This Hori controller performs very well with my PC. It's a fairly light build but the buttons are firm and responsive. The joysticks show no stick drift so far, quite a bit better than my first-party Xbox controller. Will probably pick up a second one

I returned this item because of the awkward layout of the shoulder buttons.

When I use a playstation style controller, my index fingers rest perfectly in the middle of the shoulder buttons, while the handles are in full contact with palms.
With this controller, my index fingers rest on the L2/R2 buttons, so I have to move them back (towards me) to every time I want to press L1/R1. I can hold the controller so that my index fingers are in the right place, but to do that I need to remove my palms from the handles of the controller so that I'm holding it with only my fingers.
It's awkward and puts my hands into a crabbed position, it feels cramped, and actually hurts my index fingers to use. So I had to return it, I didn't even bother giving it a chance for more than a few minutes.

Otherwise it seems like a good controller! I have nothing else negative to say. I just don't know why they would design it that way. Maybe a person with smaller hands would find it comfortable (mine aren't especially big).

Size and layout fits great. Mot like the standard picking it up where inadvertently always hit buttons you didn’t want to. Their app is great for adjusting buttons, triggers, and sticks

Not even comparable controller against Xbox Series X stock controller. Trigger buttons "LT & RT" are extremely stiff even after prolong usage. Better to spend your money elsewhere

HORI makes some good stuff. I've been buying their Gamecube controllers for years, and I have a fight stick by them. No malfunctions, no drifting. The triggers on this guy, as others have said, are a bit of a stiffer press. Takes a little getting used to, and I mean very little. I don't use the multiple profiles, the mic input, or the screencap button, as I play on PC and really don't care about them. I suppose a turbo function would have been nice, but definitely not a deal breaker. If you're looking for a cheap, albeit wired, alternative to a 1st party Xbox controller, I highly recommend it.

Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
