I chose this HOME VISION TV wall mount for my cabin to allow me to mount a new 55" TV that was too wide for the built-in media centre that I had in the living room. As such, the new TV needed to be mounted on the wall. However, the studs behind the media centre were not perfectly centred on the media centre, meaning that the mount had to be offset. The sliding bars on the portion of the mount that is attached to the TV allowed me to mount to the wall off-centre and then slide the TV over a few inches to ensure that it ended up centred perfectly. The bubble level that it came with was helpful but even if you are slightly off-level when screwing into the wall, you can make some final adjustments in the mount to ensure things end up 100% level.
Construction of the mount is excellent, it's solid steel with a smooth-actuating pivot that slides in and out, left-to-right easily. The mount has several ways to adjust the final tilt and angle of the TV which was greatly appreciated. What's more, the TV-mounted portion has two levers that swing up and are screwed into place. This makes the TV very difficult (or impossible) to knock off of its mount. I'm very impressed with the quality of this unit compared to some discount ones I've purchased in the past for smaller TVs.
The mount came with a wide array of VESA screws from very small to very large. I was concerned as the listing didn't seem to indicate that these screws were included but I was very pleased to see that they were. In sum, I'm quite happy with this unit and feel that it's well worth the cost over the ~$20 mounts that I've used in the past.
