HAZA Trail Cam - Pro's & Con's - Update: It's Junk
June 15, 2024 UPDATE: As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. I got Buyers Remorse, paid $80.00 so I over paid they now sell for $60.00 this camera is difficult to download any pic's to my PC because of the mini/micro SD card I have to do a work around to get them to a picture folder in my system, that's a pain in the butt but I figured it out. My biggest complaint is this camera eats up 8 AA batteries in short order. I've had to replace the batteries on 5 occasions that's 40 Duracell batteries since I got it, last November & they're not cheap. I'm not at all happy with this camera and ordered a Browning Strike Force Extreme # BTC-5HDX from Amazon. It arrived last week, it takes 6 AA batteries, they claim it will take 10,000 pic's on 1 set. It's already taken 1220 pics and the battery life still says 100%. As well, my Std USB cable plugs into the camera and the pic's download to my Panasonic Photo Studio program with no issues, win-win. If your reading this, I recommend you keep doing your research, there are much better cameras available, this one is now only a 1 star. Cheers David W. I had to fiddle with the camera's USB connector cable to get it to plug into the camera, it was a tight fit but finally got it in. I uploaded to my PC were you can view & delete pic's. You can view pic's on the camera, however, the screen is very small. Took me a bit to figure out how to "Delete All Pics" feature. The last pic is a side-x-side comparison with my old but reliable Moultrie camera, the Haza is a bit smaller but takes decent pics.
