This remote has the volume control/interaction.

The Roku device I have is the very basic model and when I went to pair them (following instructions on-line),
I could not find the pairing button in the battery compartment. As such I was unable to get the remote to work with the Roku device.

Otherwise this is a brand new remote and I think more useful for Roku Sticks that use voice interaction.

We have a small Roku TV that we use for our kids to play games or watch movies and we lost the remote long ago. Since then we have been using the Roku app on our iPhones which has been working fine, but challenging when we are trying to let the kids watch something and have control over the TV (we don't like them to have our phones sometimes!)

This worked perfectly; it's a 5 or 6 year old TCL Roku TV and this was 'plug-and-play'. Couple of batteries and the remote works just like the original.

5 stars, does exactly what it says it's supposed to do and worked perfect out of the box.
