This tv mount is great. We bought a new tv and the legs were just slightly too large for the tv stand, and we did not want to mount it to the wall. When looking for a new tv, we could not find one that had a center stand as most new TV's all have the 2 legs on each side and with that they don't always fit on the tv stand/table you may have, so this is a great alternative. It was very easy to assemble. The height is adjustable, however it's not just a push up or down as it is with the swivel motion side to side. To adjust the height after the initial placement you need to remove the locking screws and then you can easily adjust it one position. If you want to adjust it more than that one position (or make a more refined adjustment) you need to remove the tv and adjust all 4 of the screws that go into the back of the tv. The swivel is amazing and very smooth. The base is extremely sturdy. It worked so well, we recommended it to others who bought it too and it was a perfect solution for them and their new tv as well.

Our TV originally came with low profile feet which we liked, so when we wanted to convert it to a swivel mount, we wanted to keep the TV low to the table as before. Doing that was easy with this stand since it has a very wide range of mounting heights to choose from. We like that the base is very sturdy and swivels smoothly with little effort. The built-in power strip is also super convenient and makes it easier to manage the wires behind the set.

I am happy I purchased this replacement TV stand. I recently purchased an LG 55" TV which came with 2 cheap TV stands. You've probably seen them, small Y shaped stands. For some reason companies are making these large TV's with small cheap stands. This stand is made of solid metal with a polished tempered glass base. It matches and compliments my LG TV perfectly. It has the added feature of wall outlets and USB ports that are screwed into the back of the base. I placed the TV face down on a flat surface -- my bed -- and removed the screws in the center of the back of the TV. I then attached the 2 brackets that will be screwed into the back of the TV. This took some time. You will be attaching the base to these brackets. This is not easy because you have to align the right size screws and spacers, sometimes more than one, and the brackets with the holes in the TV. These spacers will create a buffer between the TV surface and the brackets to protect the TV.. You have to make sure that both brackets are in the right position before screwing the brackets in. It s not simple. I assembled the base , also not simple, screwed in the wall outlets into the back and then attached the base to the other single bracket that will anchor the TV brackets to the base. The booklet suggests that you can lift the TV and position it into the base which makes no sense, because you will need 2 other people and the TV is heavy and you need to position it precisely into the brackets. It is an easier solution to attach the base to the TV while its laying on the flat surface. The last part was puzzling because once you fit the base into the TV brackets its not secured. It took me a while to figure out that there were 2 wedges with long screws that you need to insert into the TV brackets on each side and screw in to secure the base to the TV frame. This was not so clear in the diagram. I only saw how it functioned when i went to the Amazon website and looked at the photos on the webpage and noticed that the wedges were the missing link that provided the support necessary to anchor the base to the TV frame. Don't think this is a cakewalk though. I was just happy to finally get it over with. You will need a Philips head screwdriver. 2 L shaped screwdrivers are included. I wished I had went for the larger size TV stand but this will work.

This TV stand was easy to assemble, feels nice and sturdy, and looks sleek. I have a 55" Samsung TV, and the feet were so far apart that I needed 2 of those 6-cube shelving units pushed together just to have something wide enough to hold it up. That took up way too much space in my bedroom, but I really didn't want to commit to a wall mount. I'm so happy I found this!

If you'd rather not purchase a larger TV stand or fuss with a wall mount system, this is the perfect solution to consider.

I love the flexibility since I regularly redecorate and move my room around, and I'm always on the hunt for cool furniture pieces at thrift stores and such. Once it's set up, you can swivel your TV to the left and right, and during the installation process, you can select the appropriate height setting.

One of the coolest features is the hidden power strip that came included. It screws into the back of the stand, the stand plugs into an outlet, and boom - Hidden along the back are a couple of 3-prong outlets and 2 USB ports! This is perfect for home theatre setups, streaming sticks, video game consoles, etc. It also makes it really easy to keep all the wires neatly tucked away.

I'm pretty handy, so the setup was a breeze, but this should be a simple job even if you struggle with this sort of thing.

The instructions were detailed but still concise and easy to follow with helpful infographics. There really weren't too many steps, either. All of the different pieces were labeled and it came with the necessary tools to do the job from start to finish.

From start to finish, it took about an hour to assemble.

I did about 90% of it myself, and my 13yo brother was able to help me out at the end when I needed the extra set of hands. The only part where you have to kinda use your best judgment is to determine which combination of screws/spacers to use. But they include several different sizes and provide suggestions based on different TV models.
