Padded mattress and baby corralled!
We borrowed a pack and play from my friends for our first hotel stay. The"mattress" was very hard and you could feel the transitions of where the "mattress" folded. When we went to buy our own I was very concerned that this would have the same issue and that our babe wouldn't be able to get comfortable and have a good sleep but this mattress is so much better! We bought the Oakley and mattress is still firm that we don't have to worry about him sinking in, but padded enough that you can't feel the transitions. Our standard crib sheet fits it as well which will help our guy feel a little more at home and make any accidents a little easier to clean. We haven't travelled with it yet but I will post and update if it ends up not working for us but I think it will do a great job. We are very happy with this purchase so far.
